•Prepares budgetary estimate for civil, plumbing, drainage and fire protection works.
•Perform basic and detailed analysis and design of drainage and water supply system (water demand, fixture units and pipe sizing calculations, water tank sizes and equipment schedule).
•Attends all design meetings and other meetings with various parties (clients, suppliers, statutory authorities, other disciplines, site meetings) to clarify and/or confirm requirements, obtain information and ensure that all facets of the project are being correctly progress.
•Knowledge of materials and installation techniques and can specify the use of appropriate materials to suit the design requirements and the building budget.
•Review shop drawings and materials submittals from the contractor and ensuring that the same is in compliance with the approved specification.
•Evaluates and tabulates submitted proposal from bidders.
•Initiates clarificatory meeting with the Designers and the bidders.
•Coordinate the detailed design of the project, such design to include calculations and preparation of shop drawing.
•Review plans, specifications and drawings for the purpose of advising on site conditions.
•Initiates such purchase orders as may be required to satisfy the specified requirement of the project, by reference to the contract documents and/or the approved supplier list maintained by the purchasing department.
•Monitor and compared cost incurred on project with original budgets.
•Assists in preparation, submission and follow up for payment of interim, variation accounts and final accounts.
•To coordinate with maintenance department in respect of commissioning and testing of project.
•Report Submittals :
•Submits work status reports
•Remarks on jobsite problems and causes of delay including recommendations
•Evaluation of the following :
•Revision of works
•Monthly billing of Contractors
•Additive and Deductive Change Orders
•Prepares contract close-out of major and minor Contractors for Owner’s reference for final payment recommendation.

Review Mechanical Plan, Specification and Coordinate to the design team of discrepancies/missing details and information in design drawings and specifications.
•Execute and control expenditures to make sure the project budget is not exceeded.
•Perform the duties of plumbing and drainage, firefighting systems with site supervision of several sub-contractors.
•Responsible for all approval of all Mechanical works at the construction site.
•Liaises with PCM to ensure an effective interface with the construction schedule.
•Liaises with Consultant for the approval of inspection and making sure the work is in full compliance with the specifications and approved drawings.
•Ensuring all latest approved revisions drawings, material submissions, method statements, programme of works are readily available for smooth and timely execution of works.
•Monitors all resources of the sub-contractor to ensure adequacy and availability to maintain the construction schedule.
•Ensure non-conformances, if any, are closed taking timely preventive and corrective actions.
•Day to day supervision of site works with stress on quality and quantity of workmanship.
•Attends project progress /technical/co-ordination meetings with various parties (consultants, sub-contractors, other disciplines, site meetings) to clarify and/or confirm requirements, obtain information and ensure that all facets of the project are being correctly progress.
•Preparing of work progress report for submission to the Clients.
•Report to the Senior Engineer, MEP Manager as and when required regards progress, problems, solutions, changes, daily reports, etc. Advises the PCM prior to commencement and on completion of any activity including remedial works.
