Manage the daily operation of all activities concerning the construction of the project. Participate in the development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, and implementation.
Direct oversight of the construction management team to include construction management and supervision, field engineering, project coordinators, fleet, and Management of the Subcontractors.
Reviews and leads the implementation of the project HSE & Quality plans.
Ensures that local/national regulatory safety codes, requirements, and standards are being complied with within the assigned area of responsibility. Ensures the Zero Incident.
Assess, with the QC & HSE managers, the status of Construction Quality & HSE, and ensure timely closures of corrective actions & non-conformances.
Participate in the EPC Contractor’s HSE processes of construction hazard and identification, including risk analysis and mitigation and the development of appropriate construction methodologies.
Support schedule detail input with the project controls team. Coordination and implementation of schedule with the construction team.
Communicate with the Client Representative continuously regarding the Project Progress and areas of concern. Prepare monthly progress reports to the Client Representative.
Review design, Drawing, and specification documents to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Ensures continuous construction work fronts availability through preparation and review of look-ahead schedules, commodity charts, engineering deliverables, and material delivery schedules.
Plans and develops engineering projects with unique or complex engineering problems involving the exploration of subject matter, a definition of scope, investigation, and development of innovative concepts, approaches, and solutions.
Establish Critical Success Factors (CSF) from the Goals & Objectives, and set up targets and KPIs for established work processes to achieve them.
Ensures corporate policies and procedures are fully implemented, establishes field procedures and objectives within corporate policies and procedures, as necessitated by conditions at a job site.
Supervision all executing activities include not limited to Pipeline welding, Cross Roads, Railway Tie in connection with all kinds of services. Fabrication, Erection of Piping spools & pipe support.
Attend Executive weekly meetings, (progress, Quality, Safety) and make sure that weekly technical meetings are attended by all relevant disciplines.
Prepare Technical procedure and Technical Inquiry (TQs), any necessary Request for Inspection (RFI), and review the methodology of activities, hydro testing Packages, Tie_ in packages to obtain approval from the Saudi Aramco Project Management Team (PMT).
Preparing periodic reports and summarizing the progress of construction activities for higher-level management and clients.
Involvement in Contractor submittals addressing Method Statements, Project Quality Plan, Safety Plan, Schedules, and compliance with Project objective.
Lead site staff in reviewing Contractor submittals (shop drawings, materials, vendors, and any other submittals), and an evaluation and response to all requests for information.
Review and monitor the Contractor’s construction equipment and manpower and advice of any shortage. Review Contractor’s monthly progress invoice.
Lead site staff in final inspection and preparation of Punch List. Preparation of closeout report.
Human Resource Identification and Quantification and, Tools and Equipment, Subcontract (if any).
