Royalty standards interior and guest operations onboard M/Y Kokoro with a total of 13 crew members.
Duties included but were not restricted to:
• Manage provisioning, notably sourcing and procuring crockery, cutlery, glasses and other supplies, and for the
staff housing.
• Managing an interior team of three
• Interact with palace staff in ensuring guest needs are planned for and met.
• Working with Deep Blue onboard and capturing all inventories on the system
• Accommodating 7-10 guests per night with fast turnovers, breakfast, lunch and dinner service; laundry and
housekeeping services, cocktail mixing and barista services.
• Interior team rotated between all departments.
• During my time onboard the vessel, my team and I prepared M/Y Kokoro for voyages to Dubai and across the
Indian Ocean for guest charters in the Maldives.
Appointed to support daily M/Y guest and owner service operations.
• Ensuring quick-response, first-class service, notably for extended periods while the owner is onboard.
• Duties onboard included but were not restricted to: Housekeeping.
• Managing inventories onboard
• Bartending
• Table setting, decorations, dining and wine service - all carried out to 5-star service standards.
Provided customers with a one-of-a-kind, once-in-a-lifetime, personalised service.
• Ensuring safety, emergency and security standards and maintained - meeting corporate requirements, acting as
a brand ambassador.
• Delivering exceptional hosting and customer interaction skills - displaying a warm and courteous attitude,
anticipating customer needs.
• Paying special attention to detail due to medical emergencies that might occur.
• Displaying an immaculate image, collaborating with the team and aligning with instructions.
