DT is the first solar panel manufacturing facility in KSA, that has been operating since 2014 and has ambitious growth plans. Recruited to shape
and drive DT’S business in the Hybrid Solar Diesel space, cater to mega Public Investment Funded PIF projects, and create distribution channels
for DT solar panels and products. Focus has been on tailoring clean energy applications for projects such as NEOM, The Red Sea, Qiddiya, Saudi
Aramco and others. My Role includes; cost control, procurement and local assembly of components. Working closely with the Vice Chairman
on the early adoption of advanced technologies that enhances performance, streamline operation, and develop a value proposition for a
superior product and service differentiation.
Achievements:
▪ Responsible for the development and integration of green and sustainable utility solutions with key accounts such as NEOM, The Red Sea,
and Saudi Aramco.
▪ Mapping out a three-year EPC business strategy passed the approval of shareholders and board members.
▪ Driving the hybrid energy solution initiative, developing solar energy storage products and educing dependency on diesel power
generation in On-grid or Off-grid applications.
▪ Supporting the localization and production of Solar Energy Storage System for critical applications.
▪ Facilitating the registration with Saudi Aramco to become a vendor for pipeline solar solutions and sponsoring the Saudi expo 2020 event
with solar panels to power the structure.
▪ Leading business transformation,

• Developed a 5 Year utility strategy that met the approval of board members, municipality and master planners.
• Reduced initial electricity connection cost for the world’s tallest tower from SR1.4Bn to SR288M by altering of network design.
• Negotiated the lowest potable water contract cost (including lowest cost/tariff rate) in the industry, taking them from SR10/m3 to
SR4.25/m3.
• Created the necessary corporate governance, ERP and administration systems necessary for effective document control on a mega
project.
• Launched three successful bid documents for developers to provide captive Water, Power and District Cooling services to meet city
demand.
• Negotiated contracts with Technical, Legal, and Commercial advisors appointed to support preparation of bid documents for bid
solicitation from prequalified service providers such as Veolia, ABB, EDF, Johnson Control and Engie.
• Coordinated service provider shortlisting and preparation of presentation summary to shareholders for final approval.
