Design and construction management for a large number of major projects including hotels, shopping mall, residential and commercial buildings for both UAE & Qatar offices. The projects as detailed herein: -
• Alkhor residential complex consisting of 144 villas (Doha). H H Shaik Khalid bin Hamad Al Thani.
• Office building - Al Jazera Islamic Company. Doha.
• Hotel and residential complex for Mr. Ali Al Khiarain. Concept-Doha
• Bin Mahmoud residential complex consisting of 10 story buildings containing 324 apartment unit. Doha. H H shaik Khalid bin Hamad Al Thani.
• Four residential villas and annexes for Mr. Sultan Al Badi. Abu Dhabi.
Key responsibilities: -
• Supervising the engineering/architectural design team.
• Meeting with clients and translating their requirements into plans and solutions.
• Coordinating with management for compilation of tenders/bids for consulting engineering services.
Al Muneera - Khor Al Raha - Al Raha Beach Development
Project: Khor Al Raha - Al Muneera, Al Raha Beach Development.
Project Brief: Al Muneera provides a gated community of apartments, townhouses and villas in an exclusive residential enclave on the Al Raha beach waterfront. The development comprises a mix of 16 mid-rise apartment blocks, surrounded by landscaped terrace gardens, together with 4&5 bedroom townhouses and villa units facing the canal and waterfront including a modern 14 Story office tower. The project encloses a gross floor area of 460, 910.8 Sq.m
1985 - 1987
Key responsibilities:-
• Compile RFPs and evaluate proposals & tender returns.
• Monitor & report on consultant’s design progress.
• Design Change Management (Technical)
• Process RFIs etc, as raised by Contractors, with Consultants
Al Reem Island Development - Marina Square - Abu Dhabi.
Five Towers (39 - 54 floors), two billion Dirham, 12.6 acres, with total GFA 408, 887m2, design and build.
• Client representative including project management services.
• Issue approval for drawings and materials submittal.
• Monitor & facilitate authority approvals
• Design Change Management (Technical)
• Quality control & quality assurance.
• Write progress reports to purchaser & top management
• Process RFIs etc, as raised by Contractors, with consultants.
• Resident Engineer: Expansion of Abu Dhabi Intl. Airport.
• Resident Engineer: British School Al Khubairat - Abu Dhabi.
• Resident Engineer: Camel Tannery - Al Khazna, Abu Dhabi.
• Project Manager: Design Review & Site Installation Report -Third Party for Beach Palace - Abu Dhabi.
• Emirates Heritage Club Complex - 2003 consisting of a theatre hall, swimming pool, library, cafeteria and an administration building.
• Abu Dhabi Marine Sports Club - Boat Marina at the Abu Dhabi Breakwater.
• Offices & Watchtowers at Presidential Court Al Ras Al Akdar, Abu Dhabi.
• Extension of Ladies Club in Al Ras Al Akdar - Abu Dhabi.
• Responsible for the new projects and the maintenance of 16 sites in UAE for H H Sheik Sultan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
