1. Acts as the Company representative in front of the client, relevant authorities and contractors and subcontractors during the program course of execution.
2. Oversees establishment of Project Execution Plan (PEP), Health, Safety and Environment Plan (HSE), Quality Assurance / Quality Control Plan (PQP), and other documents as required.
3. Collaborates with the office facilities staff to address project requirements prior to and during execution stage.
4. Establishes the program requirements for all areas of the project, and monitors the draft and final deliverables for adherence to the stipulated criteria.
5. Works with other managers, project engineers, and discipline leads to develop statement of works, budgets, schedules, and plans for the various elements of a project.
6. Ensures that the project meets or exceeds goals established in these plans, and assures that the works are delivered on time and to budget.
7. Manages the contract and applies all its terms and conditions, in order to ensure compliance of the contracting parties.
8. Communicates effectively, orally and in writing with all involved stakeholders through the agreed communication channels and according to the established communication plan. Prepares correspondence, written reports and presentations, in briefing the client and senior personnel.
9. Familiar with Federal and Local Government laws as well as with the rules and regulations of relevant permitting authorities, and well aware of all the procedural requirements, review requirements, and approval requirements of their different departments.
10. Reviews and discusses the qualifications required of the key project positions in specific detail with relevant department managers.
11. Mobilizes and utilizes company resources, through liaison with supporting departments, other offices, or subsidiaries, to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality work.
12. Leads, manages and motivate the interdisciplinary teams of professionals and supporting staff categories to ensure proper and smooth flow of works among different disciplines.
13. Develops and distributes a one-to-two-page description of the project to all members of the project team for their well understanding and reference.
14. Monitors and reports to management on the progress of all project activities within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedule.
15. Monitors milestones and task activities to ensure timely completion of projects. Performing variance analysis and making recommendations for change, to ensure schedule commitments are met.
16. Establishes weekly meeting to review project status and formulate suitable course of action.
17. Works with the key project individuals to devise and execute preventive and corrective action plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work. Advises the client and company management of any such changes. Maintains current and timely change orders.
18. Participates in negotiations with regulatory authorities and in public meetings in support of the client (whenever required). Negotiates changes to the scope of work with the client and key contractors / subcontractors.
19. Integrates competing and/or conflicting elements into the planning and execution processes so that project requirements flow smoothly, and therefore the project be completed timely.
20. Promotes the Company name to help securing new or additional works either with the same client or any other potential clients.
