-Handling all the inquiries individual & groups’ requests (bookings, Quotations).
-Responsible for all incoming and outgoing documents: contracted rates from hotels and suppliers.
-Creation, collection and updating of the data base: rates, services, attractions.
-Handling incoming international and national calls.
-Handles hotel reservation inquiries, quotations, and bookings and follow up with the payment.
-Handling guest complaints and ensuring that customer satisfactions are met.
-Performs other tasks assigned by the General Manager (fixing appointments, conducting site inspections, meeting suppliers).
- Achieves quarterly room revenue targets set by the property General Manager and Director of Sales & marketing.
-Achieves monthly sales calls targets set by the property General manager and Director of Sales & marketing.
-Sources new accounts for the property( corporate segment).
-Create a key account development plan for each account accordingly to their specific requirements.
-Conducts show around of the hotel's facilities and services.
-Promote hotel's promotions, facilities and activities (direct mailings, email campaigns, telesales, face to face sales calls, ..).
-When required, assists in the follow up on property specific bookings.
-Maintain at all times up-to-date information on competitors rates, promotions and strategies.
-Prepares a daily and weekly reports for the General Manager and Area Director of sales & Marketing.
-Attends property’s daily morning briefing, weekly Department Head Meeting, Revenue meeting and any meeting as instructed by the General Manager.
Check in the arriving guest and Checks out the departing guest in professional manner.
Coordinate room status updates with the Housekeeping department (group check outs, late check outs, early check ins and special requests).
Keep my self informed of product, service knowledge, hotel occupancy, and average room rate and meeting activities.
Up-selling hotel services and facilities to guest.
Greet VIP guests and escort them to their suites.
Make a courtesy calls to in-house guests.
Inspect guest rooms daily, and ensure that all in-house guests receive their daily amenities as per set standards.
Prepare and distribute Arabic & English welcome Letters prior to VIP guests’ arrival.
Assist VIP guests during their stay to realize their inside and outside expectations.
Observe the daily operation in the Lounge and assist Public Relations contact with guests.
Book conference rooms and communicate with IT and F&B department.
