- Responsible for the development of the team and succession planning
- KPIs include; productivity, ATV, sales targets, payroll budgets
- I have to ensure that order and replenishment are done timely and effectively
- VM - ensure the store is merchandised according to guidelines and also to the best sellers and current trends
- Oversee all departments-managing 45-50 members of staff
- Recruitment of new staff, regular communication with the recruitment center, supporting them with other brands recruitments
- Stock package - liaise with Head office in Spain in order to ensure we have the correct stock package that reflects the English market
- Regular communication and feedback to our product department about the products and our customers' needs also feedback to our buyers.
- I'm using commercial information and my product knowledge to drive sales and other activity in the store using the internal tools provided.
- Managing the budget of hours in the store effectively.
- I have to act as role model for the team, developing them and making sure that the Hr procedures are in place.
- Conduct reviews with staff and appraisals to monitor performance and feedback
- Organize and prioritize the day - floor walks, floor rotas in place so the floor is covered at all times
- Customer service - ensure staff are actively serving to company expectations
- Briefs - brief the team daily with regards to store performance for the week, targets for the day, motivate the team and discuss any other relevant info needed
- Training - one-2-one and also conduct group training sessions
- Keep stock loss to a minimum (in 2012 my store was awarded to be 3rd best in stock loss)

- -I had a big involvement in the recruiting of all the staff, setting group interviews for all brands, also second interviews. Implemented training plans for all the team.
- We made sure that we had good communication that we had a smooth opening, with our product manager, HR to support us with any staffing etc.
- My main role in the first couple of months of the store opening was spending time with the staff, setting up training plans with the responsibility of developing them. I did all the same duties as below (third manager) that existed in my previous role but at a larger scale.

- Having been promoted from a floor supervisor to third manager it allowed me to gain the experience that I needed in store.
- Being in the Flag Ship store on Oxford Street it is at a very fast place and a demanding store, which means my position came with very high standards and expectations.
- Having also be able to order in my own stock on the PDA is has given me the advantage, and strengthen me to become commercial aware which increase sales and footfall.
- Worked below me were approximately 50 members of staff which was my responsibility to make sure rotas, appraisals, return to work etc are done.
- Also I mentored and developed my trainee managers, which allowed me to over look and play on their strengths and their weaknesses.
- Also I was supporting different Bershkas in different countries- like Hungary, Ireland, Russia, -and at this time I had opportunity to work with my international manager. This was a challenge, but was very rewarding.
