RESPONSIBILITIES: Managing the company’s Procurement/Logistics activities and International Trade and working closely with the selected Suppliers. Also providing leadership for the Procurement department and motivating staff to achieve maximum performance, efficiency, save cost and improve the bottom line by aligning the department seamlessly with the company’s operations by :
- Centralization of the company’s procurement
- Developing the procurement team to cope with current global realities driven by technology.

- Sourcing the most affordable equipment and materials such as Loading arms, Well head, Pipes ( Alloy Pipes, Drill Pipes, Heat Exchange's, Casing and Tubing etc), Crude Oil Vessels, Jack-up Rigs, Barges, Dredging Equipment, Air Compressors etc for the Oil and Gas Industry
- Sourcing the most affordable equipment and materials for the company’s projects
- Responsible for Order Placement Timing, Supply / Demand Alignment, Material Replenishment and Supplier Performance.
- Continuously monitoring and evaluation of supplier performance.
- Manage RFP, RFQ, Tender/Bid .
- Managing Procurement budget and spend.
- Ensuring adequate supply of all required equipment, materials and components.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Managing the Company’s Supply Chain \[Sourcing, Procurement (Local and International) Custom Clearance, Transportation, Warehousing /Stores activities, \]; Centralise the company’s procurement; Provide training and leadership for the department managers and staff to enhance the quality of service delivery, save cost and add value to the company’s operations in Nigeria and Sierra Leone with respect to:
- Preparation of Procurement Policy and ensure all procurement adheres to the approved policy

o Supervised the installation / commissioning of 1000 KVA generator at Oregun Ice Cream Plant.
o Maintained and serviced Ojota plant 1.5MVA xformer for the first time in 27years.
o Modified Gala plant Electrical Installation.
o Recovery of 1.5MVA transformer, which has been scrapped and relocated to UAC Foods Farm at Maya
Ensure smooth operations of all production machinery
Responsibilities are:
1. Lead a team of skilled engineering team in prosecuting engineering support vis-à-vis, preventive maintenance, engineering diagnosis and repairs of i.e., instrumentation, electrical, electronics, automation and mechanical of the Flexible/Gravure factories to ensure the achievement of the set production targets.
2. Raise and process all budget requirements \[Annual Estimate (AE), Capital Expenditure Memorandum (CEM), Revenue Expenditure Memorandum (REM), & Sundary Revenue Expenditure Memorandum (SREM)\] for engineering maintenance.
3. Conduct regular appraisal of all subordinates
4. Liaise with all levels of management within and outside the company, Local and Overseas Contractors, Vendors, Suppliers and Manufacturers agents.

Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management of Nigeria (CIPSMN) is the only professional institute in Nigeria recognised by the act of the parliament to train Purchasing and Supply Management Professionals for the Nation as a whole. The Final Certificate of the Institute is equivalent to Bachelors degree. And also qualify successful student for the Masters degree programs in Purchasing and Supply Chain management courses in Universities in the United Kingdom and Europe. The Nigeria CIPSMN is at par with the CIPS of London. It was established in 1972 and it was Chartered in 2008 by the act of the parliament.
The City and Guilds of London "Full Technological Certificate in Electrical Engineering" program is a three parts program that ran for a minimum of three years. And as at 1993, it was ranked as degree equivalent.
