Design, Installation, and termination of all types of cables including copper termination and FOC
termination according to standard and approved techniques by most of cabling manufacturers such
as R&M, Nexans, Systimax, AMP, and etc.
Familiar with FOC's manual termination (Epoxy, and Mechanical splicing) and also fusion splicing
using splicing machines (Fujikura 50S).
Perform, read and generate full test results for copper and FOC using Fluke test machine (DTX1800).
Read and understand site's layout (Distribution, Cabinet and Raiser layouts) of the following
Since February 2008 till August 2011 with Department of Transport in Abu Dhabi, UAE as a Telecommunication Specialist, and I have participated in the following projects and activities:
Design and commissioning most of the low current system in DoT new premises.
Manage and maintain the following systems in DoT premises:
Structured Cabling network.
AVAYA IP Telephony.
Access Control
Closed Circuit Television CCTV.
Data Center Utility equipments(FM200, UPS, Cooling and Raised Floor)
Request the Telecom Service Provider (etisalat) to provide new services such as direct lines, CO lines, ISDN PRI and other Mobile services.
Report, follow up, and escalate any fault within DoT's telecom services to etisalat for troubleshooting and resolution.
