My responsibilities include marketing, promotional & advertising, customer service on how to enhance customer expectation through membership promotion to improve our sales, merchandising in dept store such as household, cosmetic, perfumery, toiletries, bedding/cotton, electrical, hardware, car care, toys, stationery buying, finance, operations, information technology, logistic & human resource management like staff training in sales technique & merchandising management.

GROUP GENERAL MANAGER
My main responsibilities include managing the entire retail chains which include hypermarket, supermarket, departmental store and up market premier store. Currently, i'm heading the team of setting up of our latest upmarket premier new concept store at Pavilion, K.L. & Seremban Parade which opened in Sept, 2007 & February, 2008 respectively.
During my tenure of employment with Bintang, I have growth the business from RM 200m to RM 400m within one year period by practising growth strategy with the opening of (3) additional new stores.
(B)Ngiu Kee Corporation Bhd.
2003-2005
Director-operations
My main responsibilities include managing the entire retail chains of the Ngiu Kee group which is the market leader in East Malaysia. Others duties includes profit and loss A/C, merchandising and marketing which also under my in charge, formulating and implementing of business objectives and strategies, sales and operations budgeting, human resource management as well as advertising and promotion plans and strategies. Besides the above duties and responsibilities, I was employed to turn around the group from a very critical situation into a profitable organization within one and half year’s period.

Achievements :
I like challenge & happy to see that my ex BINTANG MD invited me back to help to turnaround the group performance especially in MALACCA HYPERMARKET branch which facing hyper competition from other competitors like TESCO, JUSCO, etc. The store performance was running at a lost situation due to poor sales. I practice the turnaround strategy together with the innovative promotion strategy, to turn from a critical situation into profitable store within a short period of 6 months. (2006)
