Our target with my colleagues from Bank Muscat Oman to establish all Operations activities from screech, and to manage the Operations for Bank Muscat Branch in Saudi Arabia.
Also, to build our Operations team so we can support Business departments to achieve their goals.

1) Cards Manager

* After the Improvements & Achievements in Payments Department, I tacked the challenge to manage & improve the performance of Cards Department, determining strategies and priorities.
* Department Manager Responsibilities for Embossing & Dispatching Debit and Credit Cards, Chargeback, Fraud, Cards Accounting, ATM’s Shortages & Surplus, and Cards services after Issued.
2) Payments & Communications Manager

* Recruited to manage and improve the performance of the existing Payment & Communications Dep. determine strategies and priorities.
* Department Manager Responsibilities for SARIE & Government Payroll, SWIFT Messages for Outgoing Payments, and Incoming Payments.
1) Assistant Manager in Treasury Operation
- Responsible for 20 staff reporting via 2 deputy managers with full accountability for key settlement areas i.e. Foreign Exchange, Money Market.
- Helped to devise and implement a number of automated systems for previously manual activities.
- Standard Settlement Instructions (SSI) for Foreign Exchange, Money Market and Derivative instruments.
- Treasury Nostro Reconciliation’s.
- SWIFT Accord confirmation matching system.
2) Acting Head - TeleMoney Operation Center (Reported to Treasury)
- Re-arranged the duties and work processes in Head Office Tele-money Centre.
- Responsible for managing covering same day international transfers to selected countries.
- Duties included up-grading the section to handle additional payment systems i.e. Western Union.
- Streaming & Automating certain functions in Tele-Money Operations.
3) Junior Treasury Operation Officer
- Managed the day-to-day operation in Margin Trading Section.
- Responsible for a team handling daily clients issues.
- Responsible for the implementation of the new Margin Trading System and the subsequent data migration.
4) Supervisor In Treasury Operation
- Responsible for the follow-up of the daily duties in Treasury Accounting section, Data Control Section and the daily P & L report preparation.
- Member of the implementation and data migration.
