Job Duties:
» Specify the Site Environmental Audit date(s) for the month.
» Sign an Environmental Auditing Agreement with the factory as well as request the required and available documents.
» Visit the factory on the specified date and have an Opening Meeting with the industrial facility representatives to get brief description about the factory activities and discuss any potential concern or inquiry.
» Perform On-Site Assessment and do end to end survey in the facility; understanding the factory operation and production processes, visiting workshops, laboratories, utilities and employee’s
facilities.
» Record the Environmental Audit findings and evidences about every environmental risk and/or violation including photos and measurements at the working area.
» Attend a Closing Meeting to discuss with the facility representatives the most important issues and receives the required documents.
» Formulate the report that consist of the recorded findings as well as the corrective actions
which is then reviewed/validated and the submitted to the client.
I did my summer training for two months in Yamama Cement Factory in Riyadh city where I learned a great deal about the plant and the whole cement process from the scratch.
