To monitor and test performance of processes and auxiliaries in the Power (GTG) area to ensure proper operations and compliance with established parameters for delivering uninterrupted service & quality products to the customers. The job holder is challenged to stay abreast of developments and innovations in the field, determine what is suitable for deployment in the company and raise appropriate recommendations. The most key accountabilities as technical support and process engineering as listed below:

1. Technical support :
Review requests for modification and upgrading of processes; discuss with originator to determine whether the modification is really needed and the expected improvement following such action; if feasible, suggest alternative solution to the issue and secure originator’s agreement; refer recommendation to the Lead Engineer for further evaluation, approval and subsequently follow up on implementation to ensure compliance with specified parameters.



2. Projects
1. Participate in witnessing commissioning of new installation project, to insure equipment and auxiliaries are in compliance with specifications.
2. Provide process & technical support to Design & Projects during CAPEX SOW preparation
3. Reviewing the performance monitoring program for rotating equipment.
4. Review the design modifications for all types of mechanical equipment and support systems of requests approved by the change of management system or project management team
5. Assist operations and Maintenance in plant commissioning and start up activities ( new Mechanical projects, expense packages, and modifications packages etc.) related to Mechanical Engineering activities.
3. Plant Reliability Management Team(PRM)
The role of Plant Reliability Management (PRM) is to manage and drive the Reliability improvement activity within their plant area.
3.1. Purpose
The purpose of PRM is to prioritize Reliability issues in their correct sequence of importance and rank, assign resources to those Reliability issues that have the greatest impact on business and to monitor and manage Reliability and the Reliability development processes to drive improvement.

3.2. The Teams
The PRM teams are selected by the Reliability Steering Committee (RSC) to manage the Reliability, integrity and problem solving activity in the plant. Key members of PRM are Operations and Maintenance Superintendents, supported by Technical and Reliability department representatives and other additional subject experts as applicable

4. Policies & Procedures:
Recommend improvements to departmental procedure and direct the implementation of instructions and controls covering a specific area of process engineering activities so that all relevant procedures requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service to customers.

5. Quality, Safety, Health & Environment:
Ensure compliance to all relevant Quality, Safety, Health & Environment management procedures and controls across the Process section to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.

6. Process Management:

Main focus of the Process Management section shall be as follows:
1- Monitor units process daily performance
2- Highlight deviations from expected parameters
3- Identify the process bottlenecks and chronic issues
4- Analyze process upset, incidences
5- Monitor process quality parameters
6- Conduct performance test and report any deviations along with recommendation

Monitor and ensure safety and operational reliability of GTG/HRSG Plant including Black Start Diesel Generators and hydrogen generators. Provide guidance to control room and field operators of GTG/HRSG plant for trouble shooting and tackling emergency situation during operation of the plant. Monitor and control the operation and process of GTG/HRSG plant. Carry out checks of plant and equipment and raise the work orders accordingly. Issue 'Permit To Work' (PTW) and safety tags when requested. Monitor operators’ activities, log sheets, log books and UCS data etc.
