Implements the 10 Occupational Health Programs, mostly, pro-active in nature. Sick Leave Control, 24/7 in the provision of medical assistance. Appropriate referral system. Upkeep and maintain of patients records. Monitor health of employees. Provide recommendations to the higher management in the HSE meetings. Comply ISO standards. Procurement and dispensing of medicines. Assists the company doctor. Upkeep and maintain the ambulance and its appurtenances. Works with the accredited tertiary hospitals, the local Red Cross, the local government, the Department Of Energy and the Department Environment and Natural Resources, and the host communities. Submits annual health reports to the Department of Labor and Employment and to the Department of Energy. Maintains the Automated External Defibrillator. Facilitates the Basic Life Support and Advance Cardiac Life Support to employees 3 - 4 times yearly. Active member of the Project Safety and Health Committee (PROSHCOM). Updates regularly the higher management of the financial and physical accomplishment of the Department.
