Optus-Singtel, 2017 - 2018, Sydney, Australia
Brief: lead review and restructure to increase ROI on underperforming content and device investment.
• Developed and implemented new GTM strategies.
• Member of Digital Strategy and Connected Home Committees.
Results: direct revenue for Optus media increased from $3.5M/annum to projected $45M. annum, with substantial indirect revenue growth.

MBC, 2016 - 2017 Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Brief: Restructure of all elements of a new venture, a consumer device. on behalf of the GCC’s largest broadcaster and Telco.
• Lead development of strategy product, brand, licensing, CRM, B2B partnerships (retail network, agents etc) and GTM.
Results: revenue from $0 to $13M in first year, projected $40M year two. Fastest growing platform in the region immediately on launch.

Brief: lead merger of Telstra's disparate media businesses into new organisation and complement with acquisitions.
• Complete end to end business planning, operational, fiscal and org design of new organisation.
• Merged underperforming businesses Foxtel from Telstra, Bigpond movies, T-box and Telstra TV into one business.
• Managed ROI on 50% Telstra investment in Foxtel.
• On team acquiring Videoplaza and integrating with acquisition Oyala.
• Member of Telstra Executive Team and the Exec Committee for Telstra’s business incubator MuruD.
Results: revenue from $700M to $1.1Bn, from $3.5M loss to $4.5M operational profit, $155M profit including cash dividend from Foxtel investment. Built team of 57 DR’s, 200+ indirect staff.

Brief: Recruited from the UK to lead restructuring to increase company valuation in advance of planned sale/IPO.
• Raised $84M of shareholder funding for services.
• Cemented diverse Board around agreed business diversification strategy.
• Turned digital business to profitability through agreements with Facebook, Google and MSN.
• Launched new revenue streams, subscription (B2C) & Global Licensing (B2B).
• Identified and negotiated new J/V with Sky Television to launch new joint consumer device & brand. Negotiated retail agreements for the JV. Board Member.
Results: Company valuation increased from $350M to $850M

Brief: joined executive team charged with turning MTVNE to profitability, following 11 years of losses.
• Responsible for the growth of Nickelodeon, VH1, MTV, Game One, MTV Live across EMEA.
• Lead new market entry into 32 EMEA markets through developing B2B partnerships, M&A’s, and JV’s.
• Managed integration and merger of Benelux acquisitions TMF and Kindernet with Viacom. Interim MD, Benelux.
Results: 17-450 direct reports, $0-$50M P&L.
