IFC’s new Manufacturing, Agribusiness and Services (MAS) Advisory initiative in MENA and Africa is focused on supporting clients through building/enhancing their financial management competencies.
The program is targeting to enhance client’s bankability through demonstration of financial efficiency in working capital management, streamlined decision making processes & better allocation of resources to unlock growth opportunities and better access to capital markets.
• Act as a treasury consultant and risk advisor for Business Units and Affiliate Companies.
• Responsible for liquidity management, risk management, working capital management, managing bank relationships, treasury compliance and reporting.
• IMEA treasury project manager for SAP upgrade (Horizon 7.2) and treasury digitalization projects.
Responsible for managing aspects of financial risk in compliance with internal corporate standards. Provide guidance and leadership for corporate-wide initiatives or special projects.
• Responsible for Cash Management, liquidity management, risk management, insurance and selecting banking partners.
• Manage SAP-Treasury related projects.
• Supports in the creation of a new holding company in UAE and the change in ownership structure of affiliates.
• Supports in the registration of the new Trademark.
• Maintain bank relationship with more than 30 banks in MENA and Turkey and initiatng new bank relationships when needed.
• Assisting bank credit teams during the annual review of facilities and financial statements analysis.
• Prepare five-year business plan to be communicated to the banks.
• Manage cash flow forecasting process, capital injection, loans repayment.
• Set new policies and procedures for bank facilities utilization.
• Evaluate new banking products and services.
• Follow up and meet the auditor’s requirement and asses the draft financials versus bank covenants before the final issuance.
• Review daily, weekly, monthly reports and annual budget.
• Prepare daily cash position report, FX special Rate report, Loan Utilization report, covenants report, LG Report and annual budget.
• Handle treasury and cash management functions during acquisition between Magrabi Optical and Sisli Optik Turkey.
• Initiate contacts for the new acquired company with the banks.
-Evaluating credit card applications to ensure compliance with credit policy.
-Compute applicants debt burden to assess credit worthiness and risk involved in extending credit.
-Conducting internal verification and reviewing external verification comments.
-Proposing deviation approvals to upper management if needed.
-Providing service excellence on every call, resulting in high customer satisfaction scores
-Providing responsive and proficient technical & billing support ensuring that customer needs and issues are resolved at the first instance.
-Providing customer with recommendations to promote and achieve sales of products and service
. Preparing the files of the applicants who have received the grants in the previous years before they enter the interviews, as well as preparing new files for the new comers’ applicants before they enter the interview.
. Directing applicants to the appropriate social counselor each in his/her order.
. Organizing and re-ordering the file cabinets when required.
. Taking part in regular team meetings.
-Tracking network performance over time by using a monitoring tool - PingPlotter graph- to trace bandwidth problems.
-Acquiring brief knowledge about Cisco Equipment, routers, switches.
-Preparing a new filing system.
-Editing & Reviewing an Educational Arabic Book about Beniswef.
-Developing a system for organizing the library
-Preparing a field trip report for different sites visited (Minia, Assuit & Beniswef)
-Cataloging of CDs, Disks, Contacts, files, business cards (Data Entry)
