Conduct test witnessiing in all kinds of material construction likes, Soil concrete, aggregates, steel, asphalt, geotechnical soil investigation, chemical test, geotextile.
• Assist the Quality Assurance Manager in all the activities of the QA Department for the
effective implementation of the Quality System and monitoring the effectiveness of the
implemented quality system.
• Perform and carry out Internal Audit in the assigned area as per monthly schedule.
• Perform the Quality Management System Training as per schedule and maintain records.
• Conduct document review on all the existing controlled documents as per schedule and
submit the result to Quality Assurance Manager for discussion.
• Follow-up the respective sections for the non-conformances raised during the external
audit. Verify the implementation of the corrective action.
• Maintain schedule for site visits (for Field Dry Density Test, Concrete test like slump cone
test).
• Perform the site visit as per the schedule and report to Quality Assurance Manager the
observations.
• Perform the Internal Audit in all Branches & in the Site Laboratory thru the effectiveness of
the implemented quality system and report to QAM the observation.
• Monitoring & maintain the quality work in all site laboratory in different contractor &
consultancy.
• Performed test witnessing like aggregates, soil, Steel test, Concrete Block and
Cubes, Asphalt test, Chemical test.
Additional Area of Responsibilities:
Calibration
• Prepares the annual and monthly schedule of Calibration, Internal Audit & Internal Quality
Programs.
• Performs the in-house calibration / verification of all the laboratory test equipment.
• Schedule and attends external calibration ensuring that all Dubai Municipality calibrations
are requested at least 30 days prior to the scheduled date. Follow-up the results and
arrange to get the calibration certificates.
• Arrange for the maintenance as per schedule. Follow-up maintenance records of any
corrective maintenance carried out. If required, arrange for the calibration and forward the
result to the document controller.
Purchasing
• Facilitate Test Equipment Purchasing by inviting quotations from the approved list of
suppliers, upon receipt of the Material Requisition Note from the concerned section, forward
the comparative quote to the General Manager for approval and then to Accounts section
for Local Purchase Order (LPO).
• Maintain list of all equipments, accessories, tools with the present status department wise.
• Conduct Supplier Evaluation on the point of delivery and quality aspects.
Health and Safety
• Motivate and advise all the staff in particular the technical staff to fulfil their obligations on
safety.
• Supervised the work of subcontractor if they conformed the plan and specification
• Prepares schedules of work and its duration by bar chart presentation
• Assisted the site engineer to have quality and speedy work
• Makes accomplishment reports weather chart or billing reports
• Verification of construction drawings with the approved shop drawings.
• Checked lines and grades, installation of rebar and check the sizes of rebar
• Supervise the structural erection or installation of beams and purlins
• Check the architectural plans, plumbing, electrical installation.
• Suggest some ideas in design especially in architectural planning.
• Give some detail on site regarding complicated plans.
• Preparation of manpower, distribution and work activities.
• Prepares estimates and bill of materials base upon specification
