· Ensured with the Mechanical Construction Managers that the activities are performed in accordance with the construction schedule, latest approved shop drawings, approved materials, mock-ups. Check them against contract drawings and VOs.
· Conducted with the Construction Managers joined site visits to ensure that the site activities were confirming to the approved shop drawings, approved materials are only installed and the implementation of all project quality requirements during all construction operations and discussed with the Construction Managers and Quality Manager the quality deficiencies when they were found.
· Helped the MEP subcontractors to solve the issues related to the civil works on site which delaying the work progress.

Studied and approved (using SAP System) the various Purchase Requests against the related Approved Materials Submittals related to MEP Works (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) which resulted in minimizing the repeated materials requests as possible to keep the total value of purchase orders within the budget.
. Contacted the suppliers and discuss with them the specifications of the inquired materials based on the Approved Materials Submittals which resulted in correct quotations.
. Reviewed and approved the Pro-Forma Invoices submitted from the suppliers against our Purchase Orders before issuing the L/C Documents to the Bank.
. Prepared the Monthly Material Procurement Status Log against all the requested MEP materials for the project, complete with submittals status, purchase orders values, and the proposed delivery time schedule to site based on the Approved Work Program and Actual Work Progress.
. Prepared the Monthly MEP Material on Site List for the Monthly Payment issues and negotiated it with the Client Representative (Cost Management Company).

. Studied Design Works, Specifications, B.O.Q.s, and Other MEP Contract Documents.
. Followed up with the MEP Subcontractor the submission of the Technical Materials Submittal till getting them approved by the Consultant.
. Followed up with the site coordination team the installation of MEP Works based on the related coordinated Shop Drawings.
. Prepared and studied with the MEP Subcontractor the claims and variation orders related to the MEP works which resulted in an additional MEP works of AED17M.

Supervised and Reviewed in coordination with the Stakeholders (Ministry or Municipality) representative engineer the Design Works, Specifications, B.O.Q.s and Shop Drawings for Mechanical Works (Air Conditioning, Plumbing, Sanitary, Fire Fighting Systems, Medical Gases, Water and Wastewater networks with related Pumping Stations, etc…) for different types of projects (Hospitals, Health Care Centers, Water and Wastewater Pumping Stations, Schools and Community Centers.
3. Prepared cost estimation, evaluated bidders' prices and submittals to nominate the best contractor to be awarded the job.
4. Supervised the site inspections for delivered materials as per approved materials submittals in cooperation with the site supervision team.
5. Supervised in coordination with the End User (Ministry or Municipality) representative engineer the executed mechanical works as part of the QC system for above projects based on the project specifications and approved shop drawings.
6. Supervised the Testing & Commissioning of the executed mechanical works for above projects.
7. Studied the claims and variation orders submitted by the contractors related to the works above to decide if they are justified or not.
