Planning, implementing, managing, monitoring and upgrading security measures for the protection of the organizations data, systems and networks.
Troubleshooting security and network problems.
Responding to all system and/or network security breaches.
Ensuring that the organization's data and infrastructure are protected by enabling the appropriate security controls.
Participating in the change management process.
Testing and identifying network and system vulnerabilities.
Daily administrative tasks, reporting and communication with the relevant departments in the organization
-Responsible for maintaining and installing computer networks based on Cisco Routers & Switches & ASA, Fortinet, Firepower, and Barracuda technologies. Working as part of a team and operating in a fast-paced, changing and challenging 24x7 environment:
- Working with IP routing protocols: EIGRP, BGP and OSPF
-Perform network administration tasks: creation and management of VLANs, Port security, Trunking, Inter-VLAN routing and L2 security.
-Perform network security-related activities and functions: firewall rules changes and security
troubleshooting.
-Implement traffic filters using Standard and Extended access-lists, Distribute-Lists, and Route Maps
-Hardening Cisco devices, Configuring routing with automatic fail-over solutions between multiple DCs
-Implement and troubleshoot Remote Access Solution: IPSec VPN, SSL VPN
-Ensure robust network backup and recovery capability.
-Ensure the timely correction of any bugs and vendor-supplied patches and new releases related to
network and security devices
-Building and maintaining Visio documentation
-Remediation of Vulnerabilities related to all network devices.
-Applying the PCI DSS compliance checklist for Router/switch/Firewall.
