Act as a company contact and presence for the company and its existing and potential markets Doing estimation and costing for tendering
Always maintain professionalism, integrity, tact, diplomacy and sensitivity to reflect the company ethos
Visit existing and potential customers to build relationships and business
Conduct an acceptable level of viable sales meetings each week through physical visits to new and existing customer sites
Demonstrate technical selling skills and product knowledge
Perform technical demonstrations of company products/services while on client sites
Emphasize products & services features and advantages, quote prices, discuss credit terms and sales process
Overcome client objections/issues by demonstrating solutions focused approach to work, with ability to ask key questions to get to the core of issues / problems and provide resolution, through lateral thinking, understanding of overall challenges and incorporating ideas/experience of others
Build and maintain on-going awareness of existing and new company products and services
Gain clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements
Build and encourage a network of leads through referrals, business meetings, telephone calls and networking to create new opportunities for revenue growth
Gain market and customer information
Understanding of competitors and products
