Responsible for the effective execution of procurement activities for the entire purchase-to-pay cycle within the Projects as defined by the Project Procurement Plan along with the day-to-day management of Project personnel.
Develops and Implements Project procurement strategies and activities to mitigate risk, which are in alignment with Project objectives i.e., budget, schedule, quality, cost, etc. while providing management direction to Project procurement personnel in the development and execution of the master project supplier list, invitation to bids to selected suppliers, negotiation, Purchase Order award, expediting, logistics, Purchase Order close-out of engineered, tagged or critical equipment and services.
Serves as the primary point of contact for the Project Manager for all procurement activities within the Project.
• Led procurement and buying function, formulating and delivering the overall procurement strategy.
