• Managing all Cash & Cheques Payments to all British Airways suppliers.
• Reviewing and participating in negotiations to obtain favorable contractual conditions and agreements with major suppliers.
• Managing the process of dealing with British Airways lawyers & External Auditors for preparing legal & regular reports and tax filing.
• Assisting in all financial, taxation, accounting, treasury and relevant legal matters in line with Company policies and local legal requirements.
• Responsible for BA Payroll in Tunis & Algeria and calculating all Income Tax & Social Security and paying it on time.
• Improving understanding by providing financial analysis and business support to line managers at a country level, enabling informed decisions to improve efficiency increase revenue and reduce cost.
• Ensuring all suppliers is paid to contract terms and revenue is collected within the agreed credit terms at country level.
• Dealing with confidential and delicate issues concerning Company operations and personnel.
• Reviewing and reconciling all balance sheet accounts and Bank accounts.
• Ensuring approval authorities and bank signatory’s listings are maintained and communicated to the Region & Head Office.
• Collating all expenditures, capital to the annual budget.
• Preparing Quarterly Package on time for our Head Office.
• Investigating debt or under collections and propose solutions to rectify any problems.
• Responsible for preparing all Head Office surplus transfers at country level and negotiating with the local banks the best rates for transfers.
• Covering for the absence of the Regional Finance Manager at country level.
• Ensuring Internal Controls are enforced and correctly reflected.
• Representing, promoting and protecting the best interests of the company with interline organizations, local authorities. Local courts, suppliers and unions.
