• Provide nursing care to patients in hospital, especially in Labor and Delivery Room
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques in patient with complication during and after labor.
• Prepare equipment and assist physician and nurse during treatment, labor and delivery of the newborn.
• Observe patient, record significant conditions and reactions after delivery and notify physician accordingly.
• Take vital signs to detect deviations from normal and provide care to the newborn.
• Care for mother during labor and after delivery and give emotional care and teaching regarding breastfeeding.
