 Audit and monitoring of the Contractor’s works against Contract specifications and approved works scope. The scope of works include Unexploded Ordnance / Explosive Ordnance Detection Survey (UXO / EDO), Radiological survey, Detailed intrusive environmental site characterisation, Oil Recovery, Remediation of hydrocarbon contaminated oily sludges and establishment of ecological performance monitoring and limited restoration / rehabilitation.
 Assists the Resident Environmental Engineer in overseeing the Contractor’s activities and performance throughout the Project duration.
 As directed by the Resident Environmental Engineer, undertake daily audits of Contractor's activities to ensure that environmental work on the project is completed in accordance with contract specifications, environmental plans, method statements, company policies and procedures.
 Collection of soil and groundwater samples to validate Contractors remediation works.
 Monitor project progress against proposed schedule and report back to Resident Environmental Engineer.
 Conduct inspections and sign off Inspection Notifications as per the specifications of the Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
 Assists the Resident Environmental Engineer, in preparing project instructions for communication and coordination between the company, the client and the contractor.
 Prepares daily, weekly and monthly reports on site audits as required by the Resident Environmental Engineer
 Keeps the Resident Environmental Engineer informed of difficulties encountered and issues that arise on the project.

 Implement LEED / Estidama and Masdar KPIs credit requirements for the project.
 Develop and regular review of Environmental and Sustainability Plans (i.e. Construction Environmental Plan (CEMP), Waste Management Plan (WMP), Dewatering Plan, Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Plan, Legionella Plan).
 Conduct Material Assessments and ensure that materials comply with LEED, Estidama and Masdar KPIs requirements prior to any delivery on site.
 Carry out monitoring of all environmental compliance procedures (i.e. Noise Monitoring, Groundwater Usage, Waste Management, Dust and Smoke Emission Monitoring, Energy and Water Efficiency Management)
 Liaise with the client and subcontractors pertaining to environmental matters and assist them during inspections and audit.
 Carry out induction to incoming personnel and regular trainings and tool box talks for the operatives.
 Spearhead environmental meeting with sub-contractors to ensure environmental awareness and accountabilities.
 Conduct daily, weekly and monthly environmental and sustainability inspections and discuss issues to all concerned.
 Prepare regular environmental and sustainability report to the client.
 Conduct investigations and furnish report for any environmental incidents on site.

 Develop and review of the Project Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) and site induction.
 Prepare Environmental Standard Project Instructions (SPIs).
 Carry out compliance monitoring as per the requirements of the CEMP.
 Provide on-site advice to construction management with regard to current and relevant environmental best practice within the construction industry.
 Liaise with clients and sub-contractors on environmental issues as and when required.
 Ensure that all activities undertaken are in line with current UAE legislation and LEED requirements where applicable.
 Ensure compliance with all Project plans, balanced scorecard KPI's and other measures.
 Complete a weekly and monthly environmental inspection/audit and communicate environmental aspects and impacts and their mitigation on concerned parties.
 Review method statements of all activities to ensure environmental compliance.
 Daily on-site presence in all the different areas of the site to build a relationship with all subcontractors.
 Attend environmental meetings and inspections with the client and subcontractors to communicate environmental issues and good practice around site.
 Compile regular environmental reports for submission to the client.
 Develop and undertake environmental training requirements for the site.
 Perform incident investigation when appropriate, ensuring learning is communicated and transferred appropriately.
 Maintain full and accurate site environmental records.

 Implement company Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Policy.
 Conduct site induction for all personnel prior to deployment.
 Conduct routine EHS inspection in all areas of the job site, coordinate findings and corrective measures to all relevant parties.
 Perform and review Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Control (HIRAC) and Environmental Aspects and Impacts Assessment in the project site.
 Identify and analyze degree of risk level thru Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) and recommend corrective measures on identified hazards.
 Conduct regular EHS meeting with client and subcontractors.
 Serve as Secretary of the Site EHS Committee.
 Complete a training plan for EHS and implement as scheduled.
 Conduct investigation of environmental incidents and accidents and submit findings to the site EHS committee.
 Prepare regular reports to the Project Management and Corporate EHS department related to EHS.
 Ensure the implementation of the quality plans and objectives of the department and project assignment.
 Performs tasks in accordance with the processes defined in the company’s Quality, Environment, Health and Safety Management System (QEHSMS) Manual.

 Handle the study and implementation of all projects under the Office of the President.
 Assist the Operations Head in overseeing the operations and the necessary improvements to enhance efficiency.
 Develop over-all programs and procedures on Safety, Health, Environment, Sanitation and Pest Control of the company. Ensure that said programs are implemented, monitored and regularly updated.
 Implement programs and procedures in accordance to Nestlé Safety, Health and Environment Management System. Ensure that KPIs are attained.
 Liaise with internal and external stakeholders regarding environment where appropriate. Ensure that Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Programs are monitored.
 Submit regular Environmental Self Monitoring Report to the Environment Agency.
 Prepare regular reports on EHS for submission to the management and client.
 Attend quarterly Greening the Supply Chain Seminar of Nestlé to promote environmental awareness.
 Conduct weekly/monthly EHS audit and coordinate action plans to all concerned.
 Conduct regular EHS meetings and trainings to increase awareness of the employees.
 Liaise with Nestlé’s Officers in charge of Environment, Occupational Health and Safety, Sanitation and Quality Systems.
 Ensure compliance with all requirements of different government regulatory agencies. Secure and renew all necessary permits and licenses.
 Undertaken an environmental initiative on managing waste through a technical study on the recovery of expired/damaged milk products and process as animal feeds.
 Formulate and develop “cost saving” programs through Nestle’s Idea System.
