- Review project proposals and plans to develop project objectives
- Analyze and establish project specifications, develop work schedules, and delegate tasks to different teams.
- Manage and interpret all technical drawings.
- Establish or design testing methods to monitor the overall quality of the project
- Collect and analyze project information to create status reports and recommend future actions
- Create drawings used in design and construction using CAD software
- Supervise staff and manufacturing processes and make appropriate recommendations for improvement.
- Networking and collaborating with other engineers and professionals.

- Attending meetings and providing input and updates.
- Analyzing data to write up reports.
- Communicating with staff, directors, and clients to ensure that end users’ requirements are met.
-Inspect all drawings and designs before they are implemented including plans, isometrics, profiles and detail drawings
- Preparing material list for structural fabrication
- Preparing shop drawings (2D and isometrics) for spools and structural fabrication using CAD software.
- Ensure that quality level for services is reached by technical department
- Ensure the distribution of workload among teams.
- Oversee and monitor progress by providing the training required for the manpower
- Preparing technical queries to solve major issues raised during execution.
- Cost break-down all related activities through coordination with cost department
- Analyze job’s financial projections to ensure they are accurate and practical.
- Engage and ensure alignment with other departments on the coordination of the field related work
- Attending progress and technical meetings to
resolve issues for ongoing projects
- Attending coordination meetings with QC department to highlight and resolve problems and implement decisions suitable for maintaining progress.
- Design and Re-design of drawings to maintain value engineering in all MEP sections using international standards and softwares
- Prepare bill of material (BOM) and bill of quantities (BOQ)
- Develop Shop drawings for all MEP mechanical fields (Drainage, Firefighting, water supply, HVAC, etc…)
- Execution and supervision according to previous plans and schedules
- Prepare as built drawings
- Request and analyze quotations for best efficiency of equipment and best prices
- Cost estimation for MEP projects based on client recommendations
- Maintain close coorddination with contractors of other disciplines and client recommendation
