Description: The Saudi Ministry of Transport manages a multi-billion riyal portfolio of design, construction, and maintenance contracts covering the Kingdom’s main road network. As part of the Ministry’s efforts to enhance its project management practices and methodologies, it has created a Project Management Office (PMO) to oversee projects within the Road Construction division, the Roads Operation and Maintenance division, and the Ministry’s branches. The Ministry has entrusted SETS to support its entities throughout the various phases of project delivery.

Project Description : Establishing and developing a PMO of Al-Taif Municipality
Responsibilities:
 Overseeing the development and implementation of quality management requirements in Taif Municipality projects.
 Setting mechanisms and criteria for approving concrete and asphalt plants in the city of Taif and working on Dealing with
approved stations only.
 Establishing mechanisms and standards for accrediting materials laboratories in the city of Taif for various types of
materials and work tests To limit dealing with approved laboratories only
 Create the content of the quality department in the application of project management and making the continuous
review.
 Make presentations for project tasks.
 Making monthly reports for the quality department and making a comprehensive monthly presentation for the rest of the
departments.
 Developing the organizational Manual for work procedures in Taif Municipality in coordination with the Development
Department.
 Visiting the Municipality's projects and making a quality KPI for each project and uploading the visit on the application of
project management.
 Develop a PQP for Municipality's projects and work with all contractors to provide a quality plan for each project.
 Responsible for fully reviewing all project QA/QC documents including
test results, inspection requests, non-conformance reports, site instructions/notes, and materials supplied to the site.
 Develops and defines all standards to perform checks and tests on all procedures and supervises, All methods of testing
, and maintaining quality standards for all operations.

Project Description : North Project - (NEOM), Sharma, Tabuk, KSA -
22, 000 m2 built-up area (current). Budget: 1.630 Billion SAR.
Royal Palace, 3 Royal Villas, 2 Hotel 4 Stars, golf area, marine work and golf house buildings Secondary
substations, Roads work, STP plant building, building, Utilities corridor for Sewage, ICT & Chilled water
pipes, manholes, Stamp concrete, landscape)
Responsibilities:
 Preparing Project Quality Plan, Inspection and Test Plans and formats for various building construction activities such as
Excavation, Backfilling, Blinding, waterproofing, Raft, column, slab, blockwork, plastering, painting, gypsum partition
works, ceiling works, GRC construction, Aluminium Partition and Glazing works, Carpet works, Joinery Works, Steel Doors
and windows works, Tiling works, Stone Cladding works, Aluminium Cladding works, roof waterproofing etc.
 Ensuring that Project Quality plans, work instructions and SOPs are followed during execution of various site activities.
 Chairing Quality Meetings, Progress meetings and Quality meetings with the client, contractors, and subcontractors.
 Responsible for review and acceptance of Manufacturers Test Certificate for all civil and architect materials.
 Responsible for Monitoring of internal or external Laboratory / Field test reports, Field inspection, material inspection
reports and documentation of testing processes.
 Issuing site non-conformities to Contractors for deviations in material, process, product, safety, and analysis of NCs to
establish the trend and root causes.
 Maintaining IR and MIR processes for all section/Departments.
 Attending Quality Meetings, Safety Meetings, Progress meetings and kick-off meetings with subcontractors.
 Reviewing Pre-Qualification documents for the subcontractors prior to selection.
 Responsible for reviewing all the Material Submission including Civil prior to submission to consultant.
 Responsible for trend analysis for MARs, MIRs, WIRs submission on monthly basis find out root cause and implement the
same to avoid future rejections of submission.
 Responsible for mix designs of various types of concretes as per specification and taking approval for the same prior to use
at site.
 Maintaining Calibration record for all the equipment’s used at site. Ensuring that all the equipment’s have calibration prior
to use at site.
 Ensuring all logs are up to date such as NCR/SI logs, CAR Logs, WIR logs, MIR logs and Material Testing Logs.

Project Description : King Abdullah project to develop the judiciary.

Responsibilities:
 Conducting Internal Audit for all departments and Subcontract Audit as per audit schedule.
 Reviewing of MAR, MS, ITP’s, and getting approval for the same
 Solving Quality related issued raised at site by Client/Inspectors/Site personnel.
 QMS awareness Training for various Departments.
 Keeping Track for any Audit findings, Raising NCR/Observation, Finding Root Cause for problem, Improvement in the
system and closing for NCR/Observation.
 Onsite training programmes, Quality circle meetings and giving suggestions for the engineers, different issues related to
the quality to be maintained on Site.
 Calibrations: Identify, Calibrate and maintain Master List of Testing and Measuring Equipment.
 Monitoring the site concretes, fixing the moisture variations daily in batching plants, taking cubes and slump of concrete,
of various grades of concrete and getting approval from client.
 Documentation: Maintain every document as per prepared procedures, FQP’s and PQP’s as per IS 9001 norms to satisfy
the requirements and to face both Internal Audits and Client Audits.

Project Description : King Abdullah project to develop security headquarters KAP-1
305 sites around kingdom, total cost 7, 500, 000, 000 S.R, Turn-key Project.
Total Area of 1000, 000 (1 million) m2 contain 10 Housing buildings, Medical Center, Education building,
3 Mosques, Theater, 3 Restaurants, Sport Center, Workshops, Stadium, Tribune, Sub-stations, External
and Infrastructure works (sewer system, sewage treatment plant, firefighting, Irrigation, water network,
drainage system, buried networks, Roads and Landscaping RO plant).
Responsibilities:
 Actively Participated in Quality Audits as an Audi tee during third party audit.
 Handling and giving response for all quality related issues raised by Client.
 Producing QA/QC inputs/Reports as required.
 Reviewing all Construction Materials at Vendor Premises before delivering to sites as per specification, ASTM & Standards.
 Inspection and testing (as per specification, ASTM) of Construction Material Received at Project sites
 Checking for Calibration of various equipment used at approved laboratories and ensuring that any of equipment is not be
used without calibration.
 Coordinating with the construction people and Client for each civil, architect activities of the project for achieving Quality.
 Conducting Quality Awareness training at each site regarding Bar Bending, fixing of rebar, formwork, concreting and curing
of concrete structures etc. to improve the Quality construction practices.
 Review of Mix design submitted by Contractors for Road construction work inside the plant and outside the plant.

is a mega project for public health & sciences located in Riyadh
It contains of 9 academic colleges (235000m2) with a huge hospital for children (195000m2),

Responsibilities:
 Material Testing: Responsible for conducting different tests for all incoming raw materials such as Aggregates: Sand, 10mm
and 20mm. and Cement as per set ITP’s and Quality Plan and approving them. Carrying out various tests on Construction
Materials like, Aggregate, Cement, Reinforcement Steel, Bitumen, Soil, Concrete.
 Monitoring the site concretes, fixing the moisture variations daily in batching plants, taking cubes and slumps of concrete,
of various grades of concrete according to the set frequencies.
 Concrete Cube testing and dealing with the non-conformances timely.
 Preparation of ITP’s, Quality Formats, and Checklists for Quality Assurance.
 Preparation of MAR for various construction materials like Aggregate, Cement, Reinforcement Steel, Bitumen and soil, etc.
 Preparation of all frequency test results on standard formats.
 Monitoring the site concretes, taking cubes and Slumps of concrete of various grades as per set frequency.
 Performing test on concrete mortar (initial and final set of concrete) by penetrometer.
 Arrange and Update Calibration of Batching Plant as per the Calibration Plan.

Department (156800 m2).
Cultural Institute (121600 m2) including special building sport facilities building. Headquarters
(512000m2) including three special building.
Prince Villa, small hotel and auditorium building.
Responsibilities:
* Supervises the development and implementation of Quality Management requirements on the construction assigned
projects.
* Ensures that the Project Quality Systems meet the existing requirements of ISO 9000 series and Company’s Policies by
assuring Technical Integrity and Fitness for purpose in overall Project engineering, materials, equipment and
construction.
* Accountable for the quality and workmanship of every activity, precise knowledge of all aspects of engineering
construction relating to all disciplines interfacing the multidisciplinary processes.
* Reviews and is responsible for all QA/QC documents of the complete project including certificates, calibration, test
results, ITP, project Quality Plans, inspection requests, non-compliance reports and site instruction/observations,
permanent materials delivered and other important QA/QC documents.
* Develop and determine all standards to perform inspection and tests on all procedures and oversee all testing methods
and maintain high standards of quality for all processes.
* Review quality of all materials at the site and ensure compliance with all project specifications and quality and
collaborate with the department for all material procurement and maintain a quality of materials.
* Supervise the effective implementation of all test and inspection schedules and ensure adherence to all procedures and
coordinate with various teams to perform quality audits on processes, suppliers and vendors i.e. batching plants, etc.
* Manage all work methods and maintain knowledge on all quality assurance standards and monitor continuous
application for all quality assurance processes and recommend corrective actions for all processes.

inspection such as checking the location, reinforcement and shuttering etc. of a structure accordingly, before concreting,
and to ensure that proper methodology and instructions are followed in execution of various activities.
 Quality at site: As a part of continuous quality improvement value added inspection findings shall be informed & get
implemented through Civil engineer & report to higher authorities on day to day basis.
 Inspection of Construction Activities: Looking after activities of different types like Grouting, Water Proofing, Fire Proofing,
 Structural Repairing: Look after the repairing of concrete structures where honey combing and other concrete
deterioration occurs.
 Inspection of Formwork, Scaffolding Material and Reinforcement at vendor premises.
 Inspection for various civil structures like Satellite and Sub Station Buildings
 Carry out Site inspection as per approved drawing, checklists and Specifications & give technical solution for all quality
related problems.
