Responsibilities:
• Spearhead and mentor a team of Relationship Managers and Credit Analysts and enhance corporate relations to meet bank’s objective of increasing bank’s corporate banking market share.
• Train, guide and motivate team members; monitor and evaluate their performance on a periodical basis and ensure that departmental efforts are coordinated in meeting customer requirements to enhance compliance with the standard operating protocols.
• Develop and maintain a portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring that new relationships achieve maximum revenue within acceptable risk profile.
• Manage current account portfolio of large number of customers and spearheaded efforts to ensure designated portfolio growth; developed a target sales pipeline and aggressively marketed banking products.
• Ensure all relationships are in compliance with bank regulations and policies; detect money laundering activities and report to the concerned authorities.
• Build and manage rapport with corporate customers to ensure optimum customer acquisition, retention and revenue generation from sales of corporate banking products and services.
• Formulate business development plans to acquire new corporate relationships including identifying and qualifying potential opportunities across accepted industries and soliciting new relationships while maintaining portfolio quality.
• Liaise with existing customers including Government, Semi Government and Large Corporate clients, provided them with banking product/service information to secure more business, gathered new contacts from the existing customer base and maintained healthy business relations with them.
• Work proactively and interface with corporate clients to identify and map their requirements and provide customized solutions to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Identified cross-selling opportunities for different bank products to existing and new clients, provide clients with banking advisory services, and resolve customer grievances in time while building a loyal customer base.
• Respond effectively and promptly to the changing needs of clients in a fast paced business environment to deliver consistent growth in business and profitability in a competitive market.
• Monitor risk factors while ensuring accomplishment of set corporate objectives for business growth and targeted returns.
Achievements:
• Business Finance Assets for AED 500M Funded with nil provision.
• Corporate portfolio of Governmental and semi-governmental Relationships AED 1.8 Billion.
• Successfully launched the fully digitalize Supply Chain Financing Product.
• Successfully handled and implemented the digital transformation project for Business Banking Credit Application.
