Direct and supervise the activities of messengers assigned to the Hospital Mail Office
Process/post outgoing mail
Ensure smooth operation in the mail office and maintain records relating to mail service. Maintain Petty Cash Fund and supply of postage stamps.
Participate in solving the day-to-day problems in the Department, Assist in refurbishing and organizing the existing procedures/systems in the Department.
Prepares the monthly working schedule of the General Services employees and submit to Director for approval
Work on improving the keys and magnetic cards process and ensure availability of accurate database, Computerize the procedures in the General Services Department.
Prepare the monthly department report and submit to director, Follow-up on daily guest beds charges. Communicate with the nursing staff and the billing staff to ensure prompt charging. Prepare the monthly Guest Beds Charges Report.
Prepare yearly department budget and submit to director for approval.
Scheduling and supervising all general services employees from elevators attendants to information clerk to guest bed clerks to visitor guides attendants…..
Working on different kinds of staffing plans with H.R.
Working on the performance appraisals of the employees.
Working on different kinds of statistical surveys to improve the quality of service of the various division of the general services department, and present the final data to the different head of departments.
Working on the manual of the department on improving it and updating it in a policies and procedures format.
