Plans, lays out, tests, troubleshoots, modifies, repairs, and refurbishes complex precision mechanical devices, systems, subsystems, mechanisms and controls. Works under the general direction of supervisor, senior technicians, or engineering personnel, in research, design, development, and manufacturing environments. Work may be performed locally or on business travel.
Assist CEOs or other executives to plan, develop, implement and oversee company initiatives and projects. / oversee a company's operations. Involved in hiring and evaluating company personnel.
Maintenance Planning / Monitoring via Operators supplied Programs (i.e. CAMP, CMP). Work Order establishment and ordering for scheduled maintenance events. / Word order establishment and ordering for unscheduled maintenance events. / AD / SB Monitoring (AD=Airworthiness Directive & SB=Service Bulletin). / STC / Part-21 repair control (STC=Supplemental Type Certificate). / Request of Quotations for scheduled maintenance events to Part-145 MOs per event. / Maintenance Invoice Control. / Aircraft Warranty Claim handling. / Handling of Operators established Aircraft Service Plans ( i.e. ESP, JSSI). / Weight & Balance Control. / Management of Aircraft Technical Records. / Reliability Monitoring in accordance with the AMP. / Engine Trend Monitoring via operators supplied software. / AOG support (AOG=Aircraft on Ground - the aircraft is broken down). / Establish the AMP (Aircraft Maintenance Program). / Create, Revise and/or Manage Minimum Equipment List. / Journey & Technical Log monitoring.
Worked on A320 and A330. Responsible of Airworthiness Directives, evaluation of service bulletins, OIT, SIL, and planning of aircraft unscheduled maintenance including budgeting of modification, which also includes reliability study of component.
Conduct routine and special inspections as required by regulations. / Examine and inspect aircraft components, including landing gear, hydraulic systems, and de-icers to locate cracks, breaks, leaks, or other problem. / Remove or install aircraft engines, using hoists or forklift trucks. / Inspect completed work to certify that maintenance meets standards and that aircraft are ready for operation.
