Providing leadership to team for delivering actionable insights to various commercial departments including postpaid segment, prepaid segment, marketing and VAS. I am responsible to device information roadmap and Information Models (SDM) which is aligned with commercial strategy

Customer Experience Management:
Customer experience is managed by sourcing of signaling information by deploying network probes. Information from IuCS, GSM-A and ISUP is consolidated with customer information to engineer customer experience KQIs and KPIs. These KQIs and KPIs are base-lined to get true and actionable insights. I am responsible to architect systematic access to KQIs, KPIs and dimensions and also responsible to derive useful insights for various stakeholders. Additional responsibilities include design, development and delivery of dashboards and reports for customer care, marketing, network planning and network & IT QA.
Have done onsite projects in Qatar, Sweden and Pakistan.
SLA Management (Stockholm, Sweden): Project involved designing of a customized LDM for managed services department by analyzing various sources including alarms, trouble tickets, change management system and work orders management. I was involved in semantic data modeling and was responsible for BI design, development and implementation for Ericsson’s managed services department using SAP Business objects 4. This was achieved by providing various key performance indicators for Alarms management, customer management, SLA bench marking, ticket management and overall performance measurements. These indicators are used to set achievable SLAs with clients and also provide transparency to both Ericsson and its clients in terms of equipment performance and time to resolution for occurred faults.
Telecom Services Insights (Doha, Qatar): Worked on Qtel (Qatar) project for semantic layer modeling, aggregation and BI development for DWH Phase-2 that included detailed video call traffic analysis, SMS, MMS GPRS, IP TV, ADSL and interconnect traffic. Responsibilities also included conducting successful UAT with Qtel business users
Have done onsite consultancy in Norway for Telenor Group.
OE Dashboard: Provided consultancy to Telenor Group’s operational efficiency team and worked on corporate and strategic dashboards concepts. I was responsible to finalize security specification, high level dashboard design for technical solution and functional solution. Evaluation of data sources and recommended data integration flows for data consolidation
Postpaid Churn Prediction: Objective was to enable the company to offer campaigns to customers based on their churn behavior. I was involved with the vendor in churn definition, finalizing predictors and model. I was also responsible to drive the project to ensure that project delivers results as per expectations
Location Intelligence: Defined complete scope of the project, identified features required to generalize and support mapping of all major KPIs, designed high level architecture of the system, designed information map, identified vendors and conducted technical and commercial vendor evaluation. Also defined the roadmap to provide geographical perspective to existing analysis and business questions.
Technology Dashboard: I was involved in defining project scope, ODS design, info sourcing, vendor management and testing
Marketing Dashboards and Reports: I was responsible for understanding how marketing keep track of their media campaigns and design a scoping document to source marketing related information. I was also responsible to correlate information with subscriber 360 degree view in EDW using metadata layer and develop a dashboard where marketing can monitor and analyze trends
MNP Dashboard and QoS: Enabled MNP team to understand market behavior and also subscribers who were either porting in or porting out. Visibility was provided by developing dashboards, reports and providing recommendations on analysis methods and scope of analysis
VAS Tracking, Reporting and Trend Analysis: Developed a dashboard for VAS department and enabled to conduct analysis based on dynamic combination and hierarchy of more than 300 VAS services. Dashboard also provided forecasting and alerting to users
Enabling BI2.0: To improve analytical experience and BI landscape, I was responsible to port desktop based reports to web environment and to ensure future development in web supported formats
Telenor Postpaid Dashboard and Reports : I was responsible to identify key variables and based on that deploy dashboards and web based reports containing slice dice, drill-in and drill-out features
Telenor Reports Mobilization: Deployed a platform on top of existing BI infrastructure so that existing reports are accessible on mobile phones using secure APN tunnel
Telenor Segments Dashboard: Was engaged in business discovery and high level design along with end-user interaction to ensure complete fulfillment of business requirements, UAT and finalization of the project
Telenor LDI & SMSC Sourcing: I was responsible for requirement elicitation and documenting scope. Rolling out of the project with vendor and ensuring completeness of reports by conducting UAT sessions
" BI Platform Deployment and Road Map: Was responsible to deploy BI platform and establish a BI road-map with consensus from business users. It also included automation and development of key business reports including some operational reports
" Wi-Max Reporting wi-tribe Jordan: I was responsible to understand source systems like aptilo (AAA), intraISP (billing), oracle financial etc and develop reporting interface using jasper reports and fusion charts
" Vendor coordination for wi-max deployment: Was responsible to coordinate with vendors for the deployment of wi-max based internet services in Jordan. It included, implementation of coverage map tool based on GIS, billing system customization and AAA server deployment and customization
" Development & Integration of OSS and BSS components: Developed modules to integrate billing system, AAA system and sales tools. Developed POS, developed tools for sales processes and customer provisioning
" VoIP development: Designed, developed and tested DID portal, patched GNUGK to increase voice (RTP) capacity using open source RTP servers with load balancing. Developed legal intercept application for VoIP network.
