• Defining the learning and training strategy and recruitment and selecting the best talent and meet the company hiring requirements.
• Liaising with recruitment team on salary levels for existing and prospective staff consistent with organization market conditions and policies.
• Conducting new employee orientation program and other educational and training programs on changes in benefits, diversity, etc.
• Briefing new managers on the policies and procedures of an organization in conjunction with development and learning team, providing coaching to managers on difficult and complex issues. Ensure accurate and written job descriptions with clear job account abilities, reporting structures and career paths.
• Compiling and managing case management documentation, accompany and support managers.
• Raising proactive issues with managers, identifying practical solutions to complex and diverse HR issues, and recommending appropriate action plans.
• Utilizing outside resources in order to monitor issues and concerns in employment law, communicating potential changes to senior management.
• Providing support in gathering and communicating of necessary information on all regional and local HR related issues.
• Providing pragmatic and consistent guidance and advice to managers on grievance, attendance, disciplinary, and performance issues.
• Reviewing and revising HR policies in compliance with changing or new legislation.
• Developing personal policies, maintaining and updating policy manuals as well as employee handbooks as needed.
• Common Problems with Human Resources and setting high standard principles and providing likely solutions.
• Calculating the monthly payroll, considering final settlement, and monthly vacation accrual, liaising with responsible supervisors to calculate overtime.
• Collecting ongoing information regarding satisfaction of employee on salary packages and wage, working conditions, etc.
• Keeping managers informing on antidiscrimination regulations.
• Administering and keeping information on benefits and compensation packages up-to- date.
• Receiving employee complaints and acting accordingly to resolve them.
• Control employee work visa, Gate Pass and Driving License requirements. Maintain Customer labor system and follow up regular labor reports.
• Cooperation with company customers and providers on administrative and HR issues Internal and external correspondence and transmittals.
• Maintaining and updating human resources documentation (including individual staff files, leave records, signed performance portfolios, staff lists, organograms etc.)
• Focal point for foreign visitors in audit to arrange their travel requirement.
• To abide by the Company’s and KOC contract reporting requirements.
• Team Building & Talent Development Strong knowledge and solid background and understanding of Kuwait Labor Law.
