- Responsible for overall accounts and finance department of Dubai and Hong Kong office.
- Responsible to provide accurate and comprehensive monthly financial reports to Group CEO, Finance Director in UK and Managing Director in Hong Kong.
- Responsible for Financial reporting which include preparing financial statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports, budgets, budget-to-actual, financial projections to overall company level and individual project level.
-Helps Finance Director to design financial policies for group while assessing risk and analyze efficiency.
-Analyzes new project contract, explains financial impact of contract on company financial health especially currency gain/loss and taxation impact of overseas contracts.
-Works closely with Project Director, provide him job wise financial information mostly variance analysis and recommends him control strategies to control project cost.
- Perform cash management functions and oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash disbursements, payroll and bank reconciliation functions.
-Responsible for all banking and finance activities, maintain good relationship with bank.
-Oversee process of obtaining guarantee from bank ensuring these are as per contract and agreed by parties involved.
-Ensure good relationship with auditors while complete audit on time with zero audit adjustments.
Leading engagement teams through the planning, execution and wrap-up stages of audits and other assurance related engagements.
Interacting client and making them aware of internal control weaknesses while maintaining everlasting business relationship without hurting independence and integrity
Assisting non assurance clients to implement best market practices for conducting business efficiently and recommending them improvements in SOPs
Ensuring that Financial Statement are prepared in accordance with IFRS and local laws applicable
Conducting in house training program to give trainee students insights of industry in which client is operating
Managing large team, helping them to achieve deadline and delivering best work to firm partners
Being a trainee student my major job responsibilities are as follows:
1. Conducting audits and limited scope reviews of various listed and non listed clients especially textile and construction industry
2. Delivering task with deadline while ensuring that work is performed accordingly and efficiently
3. Assisting managers and partner to complete audit assignments
3. Assisting managers in planning phase of audit
4. Ensuring that audit work is performed as planned out by managers or making them aware of any changes need to be made to achieve desired results
5. Ensuring that Financial Statements meet necessary disclosures requirement of IFRS and local applicable laws
6. Drafting internal control weaknesses and recommendation for review of managers and partners
7. Attending meetings with clients key management personnel in the presence of managers and partner and helping them resolving issues, if arise any
