KKLP-2 Pipeline Project (FEED Project)
Major Projects:
Development of detailed design package for EPC project involving GE gas turbines and associated utilities. Scope involves all Instrumentation, (DCS, PLC, Relay logic and Power Generation).
•UCH-II 400 MW Combined Cycle Thermal Power Plant for UCH-II Power (Private) Ltd. \[EPC Project in Joint venture with Hyundai Engineering\].
•Naimat E&I Revamp Project” Project for BPP Pakistan
Responsibilities:
•Detailed Engineering Package for EPC Project, consisting of Requisitions & Specifications for PLC System, packaged & general instrumentation specifications, IO lists, instrument index, instrument data sheets, instrument cable data sheets, layouts, cable schedule, installation drawings, loop drawings, wiring drawings, BOM / BOQ etc.
•Worked in a Consortium Agreement (DIPL-Hyundai) for EPC of UCH-II Project as I&C team member and provided complete support to Lead Engineer. Major responsibilities were to prepare instrument location layout, Instrument loop diagram, junction box wiring, installation standards, instrument hookup drawings, instrument cable schedule, instrument data sheets, basis flow element / control valve sizing, interposing relay panel wiring drawings for panel fabrication.
•Worked as an additional resource for British Petroleum, Pakistan Design House Project (on behalf of DIPL) for Naimat Revamp Project and prepared instrument location layout, instrument loop diagram, junction box wiring, installation standards, instrument hookup drawings, instrument cable schedule, MTC selection and MTO.
•Design or modify process control loops (temperature, level, pressure and flow control), safety shutdown logic (unit shutdown, facility emergency shutdown, etc.), in conjunction with the process control and safety needs for both pneumatic and electronic systems.
•Revamping, Production enhancement & Control system Migration project converting Processing Facilities Pneumatic Controls to PLC based Electronic Controls.
•Hands-On experience of preparing instrument specifications, instrument index, IO list using Intergraph Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) software.
•Control Valve and Orifice Sizing using various vendor's proprietary software.
•Technical Bid Evaluation and preparation of Bid Evaluation Reports.
•Co-ordination and meetings with other disciplines and vendors.

Proposal Description:
• TRL (TransAsia Refinery, 100, 000 BPD) EPC Proposal for TRL Pakistan.
• Storage facilities at Kamari Installations NRL Two Stage Distillation Unit Revamp for NRL Refinery Pakistan
• NRL Crude Distillation Unit Revamp for NRL Refinery Pakistan
Responsibilities:
• Development of project proposals and Basis of design (BOD). Preparation of Proposals both for EPC and Engineering Design Jobs etc.
• Studying of ITB’s and Feed documents.
• Making clarifications with client on provided ITB and feed documents.
• Evaluation of ATG System
• Development of Instrument Index, IO List, RFQ’s, System and instrument specifications etc.
• Development of proposals, MH estimation, project schedule, cost estimation.
• Technical Bid Evaluation and preparation of Bid Evaluation Reports.
• Co-ordination and meetings with other disciplines and vendors.
• Conducted Field visit for As-Built Data collection of existing systems for revamp proposals.
Involve in the Process & Operation of Cathode Elector-deposition in paint shop (pre-treatment & Elector-deposition System), its utilities, which include, Oil Separating System, pumps and heat ex-changers.
•Involve in the Laboratory analysis activities which include Pre-treatment process analysis (Alkali point, Alkali contamination, Acid contamination, Accelerator, Total acid, free acid), ED paint analysis and water treatment analysis.
•Involve in order to maintain the parameters of De-ionization unit (conductivity, TDS, pH) & its applications.
•Involve in controlling the parameters of waste water treatment (COD, BOD5, pH, Oil content etc.).
•Involve in controlling the parameter of Boiler & Boiler feed water treatment.
