Responsibilities included to start and Launch the ICT for Education Program in Pakistan. This program was started at a time in 7 countries with lead manager from Intel USA. Work with the Federal and Provincial education Ministries; Local OEM, and public institutes to give access to technology; Introduced a Classmate PC (A purpose built laptop for students) with a complete Education Solution- equipping students with these devices or even equipping classrooms with these devices would bring about a shift to preparing students for a knowledge based economy Job Responsibility includes;
• Local project management of all proof of concept activities, setup of wifi labs in Pakistan including Technical Support, Coordination and Tracking of deliverables from: Local OEMs, Local education experts, Local ISV, Local hardware providers, Setup and maintenance of Pc Wireless Network and associated Servers System Administration, Identification and resolution technical and logistical obstacles to successful PoC completion.
• Also provide training to local technical and education personnel on: Technical environment setup and maintenance, Application software / classmate pc usage model, and work with Intel Education/local country POC lead to monitor the evaluation & assessment co-designed and executed with MOE.
• Leading Intel-AIOU 1:1 computing Project for more than 700, 000 students and 34000 tutors
• Supervise and support 136 labs in Pakistan in 2007-08

Major Achievements
• Successful launch of 3 Proof of Concept (POC) labs in Pakistan in 2007 before the deadline-First Ever 1:1 computing labs totally on wifi in Pakistan
