• Performing in-depth review and analyzing all submittals from Contractors (FEED, PMC & EPC) relating to costing, planning, progress measurement, reporting, time analysis, project resources loading, critical path, productivity & compliance with work breakdown structure entailing verification and certification of physical progress claimed by the contractors for payment purposes
• Initiating funding for preliminary engineering, & monitoring project proposal & expenditure release
• Setting up a cost structure to support cost collection and control within the cost structure
• Generating/updating presentation to Investors & Board Directors the key performance indicators like progress, cost reports, manpower & productivity on weekly/monthly and quarterly bases
• Reviewing & monitoring monthly project commitments and cash flow forward to finance for fund requirement to avoid any cash crunch; maintaining records for audit
• Participating in project close-out documentation for FEED, PMC & LSTK contractors
• Monitoring the reported progress & schedule status, identifying areas of concern impacting the progress & schedule of the projects; advising the Project Management Team on the proposed corrective actions
• Preparing yearly time phased budget (CAPEX/OPEX) and submitting to management with appropriate justifications for approval; drafting VOWD (Value of Work Done) reports, accruals information & reconciliation statements
• Creating cash flow schedule for planned, actual and forecast
• Delivering group accounts supplementary and additional information inputs such as capital commitments, accruals analysis, operating lease information, taxes and bank guarantees
• Participating in reconciliation and project cost out/handover activities
• Developing project baselines; monitoring and controlling projects with respect to cost, resource deployment, time over-runs and quality compliance to ensure satisfactory execution of projects
