Wilhelmsen Ships Service is the world's leading maritime services provider, with the capacity to service 2, 200 ports in 115 countries. Last year Wilhelmsen Ships Service made 208, 000 product deliveries to customer vessels and handled 53, 000 port calls.

As Finance Manager my responsibilities cover the following:

• Daily, weekly and monthly account analysis
• Preparation and submission of annual financial budget including CAPEX budget and MANPOWER budget.
• Entering final budget into UNIPLAN on annual basis.
• Responsible to Participate in AOP ( Annual Operating Plan) for the company and to monitor and report performance as per the AOP on quarterly basis.
• Budget comparison with actual monthly performance and investigation of variances
• Monthly / Annual accounting and Audit
• Preparation of feasibility reports to management
• Critical analysis of revenues and Expenses.
• Developing measures & procedures to effectively minimize expenses
• Management reporting on issues need immediate attention & procedural modification
• Preparation of monthly profit & loss account.
• Monthly Reporting to Regional office through “IFS” (International Financial Solutions) where data has to upload to reporting tool called BOFC ( Business Object Financial Consolidation). At upload, the BOFC prompts data errors that are to remove by removing controls mentioned by this stystem.
• Liaison with Tax authorities and external Auditors
• To oversea affairs with the regional office and to comply with their instructions on timely basis.
• Implementation of corporate policies in the organization
• Working capital management- Controlling over debtors and creditor. Fund management for vessels calling Karachi.
• Liaison with the General Manager and the Managing Director in handling affairs with Regional office.
• To overview taxation of the company.

• To work out break - even analysis and to set margin of safety.
• To analyze cash flow statements and to suggest improvements or to explain to the directors the reasons of any negative cash flows.
