• Advise preparation of As-Built drawing, document and drawing that relate with the Electrical &
Instrument activities
• Witness instrument calibration at contractor facilities and / or in the field for permanent project
materials and temporary test instruments / equipment’s used in E&I construction works
• Co-ordinate with construction on cable tray routing and installation inspection.
• Monitor and witness continuity and magger inspection works for cables, witness loop checks
and review inspection records
• Witness installation inspection of E&I control panels (both local and inside the control
rooms)
• Monitor cable laying works in trenches, through ducts and on cable trays
• Preparation of punch lists
• Review Fabrication field inspection and test reports and ensure that inspections are carried out
as per approved
• EEHA Inspection and audit packs for all plant electrical, instrumentation and controls equipment
located in a classified hazardous area including high voltage equipment. Provide support to
construction and start up. Verify installation meets code and specification requirements.
Participate in client and system walk downs. Support punch list rectification and closure.
• Experienced with Monitoring, Inspection and Witness for all Electrical & Instrument Installation,
Calibration, Testing, such as Cable tray, Transmitters, Indicators, Gouge and Receiver, Fire and
Gas system, Public Announcement, Control Valves, Telecommunication, PLC and DCS, HVAC,
Converters, Power Transformers, HV/LV Switchgear, Motor Control Center, Distribution Panels,
Electro motor, UPS/DC power supply, Lightning Protection, Lighting System, etc.
• Review for Installation/Construction Procedure, prepare Calibration and Test Procedure, and
prepare Factory Acceptance Test Procedure.
• Prepare Factory Acceptance Test Procedure.
• Perform testing base on mechanical completion or Inspection Test Record, Factory Acceptance
Test Procedure, and Material specification.
• All the above based on the International standard, such as NEMA, NEC, IEC, BS and VDE.
• Create and advise to close the Punch list, refer to Drawings, Specification and Australian
Standards
• Ensure that all related inspection and testing activities with regards to Environment, Health &
Safety procedures and maintenance rules are respected
• Monitor the performance of construction to ensure the respect of work standards and project
specifications
• Coordinate and assist construction to resolve any encountered problems related to inspection
and testing activities to meet schedule and avoid any delay of activities
• Inspect and witness the construction works as per their approved Inspection/Test
• Prepare internal punch list and coordinate with the construction prior for inspection & Maintain
all quality control report

• Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand
tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
• Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components
• Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the
need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes
• Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures,
using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility
and safety of system
ensuring that all critical systems/equipment are maintained in a safe and
reliable working condition and operated within design parameters and that all functional testing
are in accordance with the relevant and approved standards.
• Execute all assigned work according to plan, ensuring work is completed satisfactorily and
recorded on the planned maintenance history records
• Report any failure or incidents affecting production or property of the Client to the Supervisor or
a senior Technician
• Liaise with other Maintenance and Production Technicians to ensure all work is executed, and
within production considerations
• Maintain a high degree of HS&E awareness
• Carry out emergency response duties as required
• Manage and identify all consumables and spares for his discipline to ensure that work can be
expedited when the equipment arrives on board
• Inform on technical issues or sub standard conditions related to the platform equipment, such
that effective decisions can be made
