Position: Senior Instrumentation and Control Engineer
PROJECTS: Technical Audit of FPSO MYSTRAS
CLIENT: Nigerian Petroleum Development Company NPDC
Objective: To audit, visually inspecting the marine, process, and safety systems and materials, reviewing of maintenance records, and engagement with operation and maintenance personnel.
The Okono and Okpoho fields are located offshore Nigeria in OML119 block, 55 km from Shell’s Bonny Oil Terminal, in a water depth ranging from 65 to 100 m
NPDC Management awarded the contract for the operation and maintenance of the FPSO Mystras to the NETCO- JUBOB-PIVOT GIS Consortium with effective take over date of 1st October, 2017. the technical audit exercise carried out by the Consortium’s transition team as part of the ongoing transition from the current to the incoming contractor.

PROJECTS: (FRONT-END ENGINEERING DESIGN ON UPGRADES AND REHABILITATION OF OREDO FLOWSTATION AND ASSOCIATED FACILITIES PROJECT.)
CLIENT: Nigerian Petroleum Development Company NPDC
Objective: Aimed at boosting production from Okpoho Field to the FPSO and involved:
• 16” subsea Pipeline Failure Investigative Report; detailed Investigation of Root Cause Failure of previous 16” Pipelines.
• Based upon the recommendations of the Investigative Report, an Extended FEED for a new Crude Oil Production Pipeline from Okpoho Platform to the FPSO will be completed.
• Extended FEED for a new Gas-lift Pipeline from FPSO Mystras to Okpoho platform and other works (verification and modification) required for export gas handling on FPSO Mystras.

Deliverables: Responsible for all Electrical and Instrumentation packages: Actuated
On/Off Valves, Relief Valves, Sand Probes and Transmitters, Gauges, Instrument Cable
Trays, Corrosion Monitoring, Control Valves and Self Actuated Control Valves,
Transmitters, Instrument Junction Boxes, Flow Element and Restriction Orfice, Instrument
Cable Trays, Navigational Aids, Normal & Emergency Lighting, Heat Tracing, Transformer,
Telecoms Junction Boxes, Telecoms Cable, Instrument Bulk materials.
Ensuring the Design of the two Wellhead, Living quarter Platforms and bridges meets
effective Construction, Operation, Maintenance and Safety requirements.
Working in Reviewing, evaluating, and advise on:
Electrical specifications and drawings
Compliance with design methods and safety factors to be used in design of project.
Technical bid tabulations for electrical and Instrumentation components
Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs)

Development and design of the electrical system
Development of electrical schematics and one-line diagrams
Selection, specification, and inspection of electrical equipment and components
Procurement of electrical items including preparation of specifications, bid
evaluations, bid tabulations, bid recommendations, etc.
Preparation of operating manuals and other plant startup planning as required
Participate in electrical technical specification preparation and bid tabulations
