Site Works:
-Implementation and monitoring of electrical related works at site.
-Estimation, preparation and assignment of the resources such as manpower, materials, equipment and tools required for the execution of the works.
-Managing and providing technical support to the groups working at site.
-Planning the execution of all electrical related works in coordination with mechanical and civil groups.
-Submitting site daily reports, inspection requests, estimates and all applicable monitoring reports on regular basis.
-Ensuring that all the works done are in accordance with the approved construction drawings, project specifications, and all applicable standards.
-Ensuring that all works are being done according to all applicable quality and safety standards and procedures.
Engineering:
-Reading, studying and reviewing the Design Drawings issued by the client.
-Raising Technical Queries to client and ensuring its implementation.
- Co-ordination with Clients & Engineering department to resolve the engineering issues.
-Generating Shop drawings for different Electrical and Instrumentations systems, such as earthing, lighting, lightening protection, cable tray routing, power and instrument cable routing, Fire alarm system, equipment supports…
-Developing cable schedule for secondary power distribution.
-Preparing Material Take OFF (MTO) for Electrical & Instrumentation activities.
-Preparing all required documentation, as per project specifications, prior to submitting Material Approval Request to the Client.
-Preparing and Submitting Method Statement for Electrical and Instrumentation activities for Client Approval.
Procurement & Material Control :
-Creating RFQ for Electrical and Instrumentation Material and Services.
-Sending RFQ and RFP to suppliers, following up and obtaining offers/ quotations.
-Preparing Comparative Statement after evaluating the Techno-Commercial Offer.
-Following up on Material Delivery and documentation requirement as per Client Standards and Procedures.
-Handling and Controlling Electrical and Instrumentation Materials and Stores.
Planning & Reporting:
-Generating Data Base for the Major Construction Activities
-Establishing Work Scope and Quantities for all Site Activities.
-Tracking, Monitoring and Forecasting the Progress for Site Activities.
-Analyzing the gap between the Planned and Actual Progress, Highlighting the Areas of Concern.
-Preparing Daily, Weekly and Monthly Progress Reports and giving presentation to Managers.
Cost Control & Quantity Surveying:
-Establishing the Department Budget allowance in term of Man-hours and Material Cost.
-Preparing the Weekly and Monthly Productivity Reports.
-Reviewing Original BOQ: adjust, comment and resubmit final version for client approval.
-Undertaking Cost/Schedule Analysis for any Additional Scope.
-Assisting QS Engineers in the preparation of Variation/Change Order Requests.
-Controlling and Ensuring the proper functioning of the Bagging Unit.
-Ensuring the achievement of the objectives set for the Unit.
-Perform Trouble shooting upon occurrence of failure.
-Developing the maintenance plan for the equipment/machines.
-Managing and leading a team of qualified technicians.
-Ensuring the training of the Unit Staff.
-Ensuring the implementation of Safety Standards.
-Preparing the Daily and Weekly Reports.
