My main task as an accreditation assistant in the Press Department at ADFF was to coordinate between the Accreditation Desk and other departments, to maintain and manage access requests and badges by journalists & media figures, and to compile relevant data into a database software.
As an intern in the Research, Advocacy and Public Policy-Making department, I assisted in compiling and inputting information on policy research institutes in the MENA region, into primary databases. I also collected journal articles and bibliographies from archives relevant to specific case-studies. I summarized and translated reports. I assisted in interviews with community leaders on a specific case-study (such as in the healthcare sector).
I compiled information and data for maintenance database, and I assisted the main operator in handling phone calls to the university that were referred to requested departments or figures.
I was an International Studies undergraduate student at AUS, with a concentration in International Relations. I started my first year of studies with receiving a Merit Scholarship, and I was on the Dean's List for 4 semesters. I completed my internship after finishing my third year of studies, at the Issam Fares Institute in AUB.
