In my current position as Finance Officer at Medair, I have been responsible for forecasting cash needs, conducting routine cash counts and bank reconciliations, processing staff salaries and allowances, and keeping pre-payment and accrual files up-to-date. I have also prepared Budget Versus Actual (BVA) expense reports and completed monthly value-added tax (VAT) reimbursement requests for certain donors. Additionally, I have interacted with various auditors to follow up on financial matters.
