Job Responsibilities:
Responsibilities in Branch less Banking
• Ensuring Settlement & Reconciliation operational procedure for MCB Lite Card Product that includes ATM, POS, Inter Bank Transfer, Fund Transfer, Utility Bill Payment, and Mobile TopUps.
• Supervising/Monitoring Settlement & Reconciliation operational procedure for MCB Remote Banking Channels that includes ATM, IVR - Call Centre, Mobile Banking, Internet/ Virtual Banking.
• Monitoring and supervising the Utility Bill Payment performed Through NTL (NADRA Technology Ltd) through MCB Channels.
• Process re-engineering for transactions performed through MCB Remote Banking MCB Lite Card Product on various channels to offer better financial services to customers.
• Performing internal audit for the current processes to monitor overall effectiveness and efficiency of the controls in place & implementing further controls as per need.
• Centralization of Settlement & Reconciliation, Disputes & Chargeback and Vendor Payments process & Commission Income.
• Maintaining MIS of Remote Banking & MCB Lite on daily basis of unsettle/ rejected transactions & monitor reversal process within the TAT.
• Reconcile the entries which are outstanding at branch/HO and to respond them by coordinating at Branch & finance department.
• Monitor all the G/Ls & resolve all the issues regarding Reconciliations.
• Booking of Accruals & Commission against respective vendor.
• Assisting Transaction Dispute Unit & Vendors regarding customer’s complaints.
• Monitor Electronic Fund Transfer b/w MCB card Holders.
• Marinating healthy relationship within Banking sectors & partners/vendors in Payment industry.
• Assuring the settlement of MasterCard weekly Charges and VISA Integrated Billing with fetching the reports from MasterCard & VISA sites and assisting the other colleagues in the reconciliation of MasterCard Acquiring.
Job Responsibilities:
• I am responsible for the settlement and reconciliation of VISA and Master Credit and Master Debit Card used locally and internationally.
• Responsible for the reconciliation of repayments made by UBL’s Credit Card holders.
• Settlement and reconciliation of other Local Bank’s MasterCards through SCB which are used on UBL’s merchants.
• Involvement with all the UBL Branches in Pakistan to resolve outstanding entries.
• Involvement with State Bank of Pakistan for the settlement with other Local Banks.
• I have understanding of other Units in the Consumer’s Operation as well such as Card Maintenance and Transaction Processing Units.
• Responsible for the department’s sales, waste and shrinkage targets using tactics.
• Managing a team of fifteen colleagues, their holidays and training.
• Managing Inventory of the department.
• Merchandising and advertisement of the product according to the strategy of the company.
• Responsible that department is Safe and legal all the time.
• Review the colleague’s performance on weekly basis and report to HRM for their feedback.
• Dealing with customer’s issues under company’s trading laws.
Overall i have got 66% in MBA with 73% in my dissertation, title for my dissertation "CAPITAL STRUCTURE AND ITS IMPACT ON PROFITABILITY IN THE UK REAL ESTATE SECTOR (A study of data covering the period 2006 – 2010)" also in financial management i got 86% and in corporate finance i got 80%.
