Issuing Purchase Order (PO) and Organizing Logistics

• Assuring the shipping documents are received as per custom and contractual requirement and Update the Shipment Status report for better monitoring

• Reviewing freight rates and exports. Organizing Logistic & Clearance for Material flow
• Follow-up clearance and local transport of the shipment with the clearing agent
• Coordinate and resolve issues with requester/end user departments and suppliers
• Assist Shipping and Receiving, for shipment/transportation related discrepancies
• Contact carrier representative to make arrangements and to issue shipping instructions and delivery of materials
Delivery/Despatch
• Receive finish product and request for Pack & Despatch, Check and ensure completeness of required documents
• Review Packing Requirements, Sign packing list after packing and complete the request for Pack & Despatch with name, signature and date. File the request.
• Arrange for Transportation and Load Products for Delivery, Ensure availability of appropriate equipment needed to load product and Assign personnel to load product, Load and secure product for delivery.
• Arrange deliver of product, Handover original delivery receipt and packing list to transporter. Deliver or facilitate delivery of product to agreed site.
• Get customer’s acknowledgement by securing signature on the delivery receipt from the customer or from his representative
• Set-up and coordinate all logistics activities on projects, including: material collection, shipment follow-up export and import clearance and delivery to the final destination.
• Responsible for supply chain in terms of dispatch, documentation for all export and import markets.
• Follow-up with internal department regarding the arrival of shipment on their respective construction and operation sites.
• Interfacing with internal departments and external customers, freight forwarders, carriers and custom officers to ensure efficient and effective coordination and logistics.
• Implement logistics (transport, consolidation, storage) strategies on all projects.
• Negotiate transport costs with transport agencies and find best transport options.
• Effectively manages logistics operations, ensuring consistency and compliance and performs all types of duties as directed by higher authorities.
• To update the higher authorities on weekly basis.
• Manage and perform all Sales activities for the company in the market
• Develop close relationships with existing and potential clients to meet sales targets & ensure consistent long term business
