While undergoing my studies at CBA in Saudi Arabia, I taught English as a second language to children aged between seven and 14 years. Each class consisted of approximately 20 students.
Responsibilities:
- Teaching students.
- Organizing lesson plans and homework.
- Writing exam papers.
- Approving course materials.
Achievements:
- I implemented a new reward system based on positive reinforcement where the class collectively get awarded a star when reaching the required standards of participation and work, when reaching a certain number of starts, they were allowed to bring in snacks and drinks on an agreed day (usually through the revision class before the final exam). This system helped me a great deal in allowing the students in my class to excel over other students at 3C.
I started my own business, in which I market fantastic weight loss/gain products, counsel clients in how to maximize nutrition for their general health. I personally lost 51kg on these products.
Responsibilities:
- Health evaluations over the phone and face to face
- Selling and explaining products and programs
- Following up client's progress (whether it be weight loss, weight gain or general health)
- Problem solving and suggestions
- Training distributors (As I am at the supervisor level)
- I was awarded a Supervisor certificate for being able to supervise and train other distributors.
I started working for this Insurance broker (A company under-written by Lumley General) for a period of four months in the customer service and sales field.
Responsibilities:
- Customer service (face to face and over the phone)
- Selling various insurance covers
- Authorizing claims
- Administration & Data Entry
Achievements:
- I completed the training and was awarded 2 certificates (which are outlined in education and training above)
- I became employee of the month 7 consecutive months in a row due to my high standards in customer care, excelling ability in saving policies from customers wishing to cancel and in the ability to market the various products to the clients.
I worked full time as a Guest Service Agent (GSA) at the Crowne Plaza in Parramatta/ Sydney, where I undertook various duties and responsibilities, such as acting in three roles at the Front Office Team (Concierge, Reception and Reservations), dealing with complaints and solving problems.

I worked casually at the Reading Cinema's Gold Lounge in Auburn, where I managed the gold lounge on my own.

- Meeting and greeting customers
- Taking and serving orders (hot food, cold food, warm and cold drinks)
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the area and the inviting atmosphere.
I started working as a Receptionist trainee (G.S.A) in the Sheraton Hotel, Jeddah (a Five Star Hotel) . After three months, I completed the traineeship and became very familiar with the FIDELIO program. My responsibilities were vast and included checking in and out guests, resolving any problems, as well as making each customer's stay is comfortable.

I worked for 2 months at one of my uncle's bookstores in Germany.

Current & Near Future: Will be completing a Masters degree in Management and Marketing via correspondence (distant-online learning) with the university of Ballarat in Australia. This can be achieved in a time frame of one to two years and I am able to complete the degree from anywhere around the world without it effecting my work.
Completed an Advanced Diploma in Management at the Blacktown College in Australia with a credit as an overall grade. I was considered by the teachers to be the leader of my class due to my discipline which led to my results.
Completed a Diploma in Marketing at Liverpool College in Australia with an overall credit grade. My teachers were so impressed by my achievements that they are prepared to give me written references if needed.
I received a certificate of Completion RG146 Tier 2 General Insurance, RG 146 Tier 2 General Knowledge, Privacy Policy and Code of Practice in Australia.
I received a 'Supervisor Certificate' while completing various trainings in sales and marketing through Herbalife functions, online courses and seminars while I was running my own business as an independent Herbalife distributor in Australia.
