Lead the Company’s Global Logistics and Customs Compliance Program through the setup and implementation of policies and procedures to manage and control the company materials movements worldwide in the most cost and operational effective manner. Strategically plan and manage inventory, warehouse, transportation and customer services with tasks ranging from the development of timely, cost-effective import and export schemes to the handling of the technicalities of international and domestic transportation. Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, logistics mediators, services provider’s 3PL/4PL. Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements. Maintain compliance with all with laws, regulations and ethical standards Comply. Build policies and procedures for supply chain management and activities in terms of freight, customs clearance, Logistics, distribution, Inventory.
Ensure effective oversight and supervision of the logistics and trade compliance department's performance, taking necessary actions to achieve growth, budget, and performance objectives as outlined in the business plan and logistics action plan. Improve key processes to maximize shipping utilization, reduce order processing times, and enhance overall customer satisfaction. Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as Finance and Procurement Operations, to align on budget targets and establish metrics for measuring savings, value, and other category indicators. Enhance supplier performance, mitigate supply chain risks, and streamline sourcing processes for increased efficiency. Engage in negotiations with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics service providers to optimize costs. Develop strategic plans for logistics, inventory management, warehouse operations, distribution, and customer services.
Managing warehousing, logistics & distribution requirements company warehouses network across
Directing the strategic coordination of logistics, warehousing, distribution, and replenishment for our company's extensive warehouse network across KSA, in addition to overseeing export orders. Leading and mentoring a dynamic team of over 150 employees, managing all aspects of recruitment, training, and performance assessment.
Furthermore, leveraging expertise in trade compliance and international importing, ensuring seamless adherence to regulatory standards and customs requirements. Spearheading initiatives to optimize efficiency and minimize risks associated with cross-border trade.
Moreover, actively managing and enhancing relationships with freight forwarding contractors by establishing robust KPIs covering shipping, storage, and material delivery, while continuously monitoring performance and implementing improvements.
Provide strategic analytical & decision support to overall planning. Direct order scheduling, forecast sales plan, running & maintain the monthly of Sales Operations Planning (SOP), Consumptions Based Planning (CBP) and direct replenishment product & spare parts for all branches & warehouses. Ensure the successful implementation of (MRP) Material Planning Requirements.
