Duties & Responsibilities:
• Advises and assists the senior construction site representatives in the establishment and management of OH&S Management system of the company & client and identifying and eliminating/controlling any hazards to persons and property.
• Review/comment/approve risk assessments for upcoming work and provides technical assistance to the safety planning process.

• To ensure the contractors are fully comply with all safety requirements for confined space work activities.
• Scaffolding inspection to ensure that they are made as per the applicable Standards & Specifications.
• To ensure that hot work activities are being carried out with strict compliance of hot work requirements.
• To make aware the workers about fire protection, site Safety requirement and housekeeping.
• To conduct Safety orientation to the workers and others.
• Leading Joint Weekly Safety Inspections with the Client and reporting the deficiencies for necessary corrective actions & remedial measures.
• Arranging and imparting Safety Orientation Programs and various training programs such as Fall Prevention, Confined Space Entry Training etc.
• Promoting Safety awareness among the working crews and supervisory cadre.
• Preparation of accident, incident and near miss reports, finding direct/indirect causes of accidents, recommendations & preventive measures.
• Daily inspection of work site, recommendations to eliminate all the unsafe conditions and potential hazards and to maintain good housekeeping.
• Preparation of Job Safety Analysis and hazard identifications.
• To educate the supervisors and working crew to follow safe working practices.
• Initiate disciplinary actions against the violators of Safety Rules & Procedures.
