Managing procurement and replenishment - end to end.
Managing complete cycle of replenishment of various spare parts and supplies (from placement of purchase order till the payment of the bill) and planning inventory delivery timetables based from suppliers.

Follow up with stores and monitoring items that are critical to plant operations and ensuring that enough supplies are there to meet any emergency need.

Managing Emergencies - follow up for critical or urgently required items.
Evaluating performance of suppliers by coordinating with the technical staff so improves supplier selection process and help suppliers improve management at their end.
Supplier Development - collaborating to update suppliers on latest inventory needs.
Generating reports related to inventory stocks, pricing of supplies, dead stocks and slow moving items, to help management revise and improve the inventory plans.
Performance evaluation - of suppliers to ensure working with and developing supplier relations
Coordinating with accounts department to facilitate the payment of supplier’s dues, keeping them informed regarding the status of billing.
Handling rejected products and analyzing their reasons so that no such product is procured next time and that rejections reach their suppliers within due time.
Familiar with working testing and quality control of various counts.
Worked with central quality lab for making of yarn with Organic Cotton.
Working as Departmental compliance representative for two units, looking after all issues related to social, security & quality audits.
Managing all documentation related work regarding ISO 9000 & Quality Management System and coordinated Quality & Compliance Audits
Coordinated various customer focused audits like IWAY & QWAY from IKEA and Wal-Mart’s Quality and health & safety audits.
Coordinated training of workers with Compliance & Fire Fighting department.
