Construction of 110/13.8kV Substations

 Good understanding of Construction activities such as Construction execution plan (construction sequences, logistics, scheduling, controlling, monitoring activities etc.)
 Organizing and managing team of Electrical Engineers, QA/QC, Coordinators & Supervisors and ensure that all site construction is carried out as per the approved drawing and standards.
 Coordination with Client, Consultants & Sub-Contractors and ensure smooth execution of the projects. Resolve the issues during the execution stage with concerned parties.
 Identifying the engineering requirements in line with scope of work and technical documentation. Ensure engineering documents are approved from Client as per project specifications.
 Progressive certification of the site job from client for raising progressive invoices
 Plan resources for site activities, review of site mobilization plan and facilities, sub-contractor identification & evaluation, estimation and budgeting for proposal
 Competently close monitoring of material delivery status and site progress in-line with project specification, priority and schedule.
 Coordination of Testing and Commissioning, witnessing with Consultant / Client of all electrical material equipment’s and material inspection \[RMI & RFI\]
 Daily reporting to management regarding site progress, status of works, schedules, disputes and upcoming activities. Maintaining quality standards and proper documentation filing.
 Implementing 5-star safety system at site. Ensure health and safety requirements are meeting throughout the final project execution level and Ensure that safety guide lines are strictly followed at site without any deviation
 Successful and timely execution of projects

Project : Mobile Power Plant 2*25 MW_TM 2500 GE Gas Turbine_Fast Track
Consultant : PLN Engineering
Client : GE Grid Solutions & PLN Batam, Indonesia

Responsibilities include :
 Review design drawings as per project specification requirements and international standards.
 Ensure engineering documents are approved from Client / Engineering Consultant as per project specification and BOQ.
 Competently close monitoring of material delivery status and site progress in-line with project specification and schedule.
 Planning, allocation / delegation of works to sub-contractors at site for effective execution.
 Provides guidance, managerial, technical support to complete project team.
 Attending regular meetings with Client and Consultant, discuss key issues related to approvals and take effective corrective actions.
 Ensure health and safety requirements are meeting by sub-contractors and site team with authorities’ regulations.
 Local Authority interfacing and liaison.
 Prepare periodic reports for management including status of work completion, schedules, disputes, up-coming activities and safety records.
 Interface with Construction and Operation team leads, engineering and construction contractors.
 Ensure that all Electrical work is carried out in accordance with Permit to Work procedures, project drawings, project priorities and identify and correct any deviations.
 Coordination of Testing and Commissioning, witnessing with Consultant and Client of all electrical equipment.
 Ensure all project variations are recorded and passed to the associate.
 Maintaining job filling systems to company and QA standards.
 Successfully completion, handing over and close out the project.

Working as Electrical Engineer in Power & Distribution department.
Responsible for Erection, Supervision, Commissioning, Operation & Maintenance done for Dynamic-Static Var Compensator \[D-SVC\].

Assisted Project team for installation, commissioning and testing of 22 kV and 6.6 kV Switchgears, Transformers, RTCC panel \[MR_Tapcon 240\], Battery Banks \[CEG, Italy\] & Online filtration unit \[Vacuum Separator VS-06\].

Operation & Maintenance implemented for 230kV & 154kV GIS Main Substation and 22kV & 6.6kV Power & Distribution station. Co-ordinate with Manager in executing predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance activities and schedule annual maintenance plan for increasing the equipment up time and long term equipment reliability.

 Proven record of experience in Converteam \[GE Energy\] Medium voltage MV 7000 drives used in D-SVC system and Harmonic filter \[HFPFC\] area for Electric Arc Furnace 130t with rated capacity of 104 MVA.
 Done the power quality analysis through Fluke 1760 PQ Analyzer during load transient priority when EAF & LF Arc furnaces are in operation/non-operation.
 Worked in 230kV/154kV GIS Substation and 22kV/6.6kV Distribution station.
 Operation & Maintenance of HV/MV Switchgears, Transformers, Generators, AC-DC Auxiliaries, control and protection panels.

Testing and commissioning of Medium and Low voltage drivers for Crane, Wind, Test benches, Metals & Oil and gas application.

 Proven records of experience in Converteam make ProWind, ProCrane, Pro-Tx, LV 7000 \[Vacon\] and Medium voltage_ MV 7000 drives.
 Worked in production and testing field \[March2008 till March 2011\] for Medium and Low voltage drives at Converteam Gmbh Berlin, Germany.Familiar in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S philosophy and tools within a high technology energy equipment production line.
 The job includes checking build of material and hardware checks, wiring and circuit diagram checks, high voltage and insulation testing, system testing and quality inspection as well as conducting FAT with the customers.

Testing and Commissioning of ABB make AC and DC drives for Process industries \[Metals and Water supply and sewerage plant\].
 Proven record of experience in ABB make low voltage Ac and Dc drives.
 Received Training for ACS 550, 600 & ACS 800 drives from ABB, Bangalore, India
 Worked in production and testing field for Low voltage drives at ABB, Bangalore, India.
 Done Commissioning for PCC, PDB, MLDB & Motor control centre panels.

Worked as Graduate Engineer Trainee in Operation and Maintenance field for 110Kv substation.

 110kV Substation, Paruthipara: Operation & maintenance for LV panels, Distribution boards, Battery & battery chargers etc. Troubleshooting and monitoring of all LT equipment’s at S/S.
 Supervising on-going works at yard and line. Preparing operation reviews, events and daily logs including issuing safety work permits.
