My work is:
-Intelligence gathering on customers and competitors
-Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction -Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
-Advising on, drafting and enforcing sales policies and process
-Follow-up sales activity
-Arrange business meetings with prospective clients
-Formal proposal and presentation management and
writing
-Pitch and presentation rehearsals
-Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objective -Account planning and performance monitoring
-Negotiating prices and terms of sales and service agreements.
· Completion of tenders for potential clients (i.e. ADNOC - OPCOs)
· Handling the commercial part of tenders, and following up with engineers for the technical part
· Liaise with director of contracts and purchasing departments
· Maintains good relationship between company and potential principals and existing principal by responding to all the query relating to Registration and Pre-qualification
· Reviewing RFQs and inquiries and preparing SO, PO, and quotations for various clients
· Following up with clients and principals until the completion of tender/contract
Project Title: Strategic Tunnel Enhancement Program (STEP), Deep Sewer Tunnel, Tunnel Contracts T-02 and T-03 (Abu Dhabi, UAE)
During my six months internship at Impregilo, a leading international megaprojects contractor, I was involved in different departments namely QA/QC, Design, Procurement, and Planning. The internship gave me opportunity to work in a highly skilled team and gain practical knowledge and experience about megaprojects.
CIVIL ENGINEERING POSTGRADUATE ACHIEVEMENTS • Proficiency in the core areas of construction planning, scheduling, estimating, cost control, and productivity • Understanding of advanced construction methods and modern equipment used in medium to large-scale projects • Familiarity with the benefits and risks associated with different construction project delivery methods and contract types • Ability to apply probability, statistics, and decision analysis in project planning, infrastructure durability evaluation • Competency in technical report writing, verbal communication, construction project documentation, and computer applications • In-depth understanding of the regional and international laws and regulations governing construction organizations and operations • Strong awareness of the professional and ethical obligations governing the construction management profession at the regional and global levels
CIVIL ENGINEERING UNDERGRADUATE ACHIEVEMENTS • Undergraduate Project: Traffic Operation Analysis and Re-design of the Signalized Intersections in Downtown Abu Dhabi. Software used: Synchro/SimTraffic o Performed traffic count studies, operations analysis and signal timing plans analysis for the existing signalised intersections o Evaluated traffic signal operation problems; proposed designs and construction modifications. • Undergraduate Thesis: Re-design Female Parking Lot at Abu Dhabi University. Software used: AutoCAD, AutoTURN o Addressing issues related to water runoff problem by designing a complete drainage system o Improving the traffic safety and vehicles maneuver o Increasing the number of available car spaces • Studying the efficiency of Al Dhafra C&D Recycling Facility in reducing the carbon footprint of construction projects in Abu Dhabi as well as how the plant could expand its capacity for C&D recycling to reduce the reliance of Abu Dhabi on the quarries of other emirates • Received certificate of recognition from Department of Civil Engineering at Abu Dhabi University for outstanding accomplishment in the major courses including Construction Management, Structural Analysis, Structural Systems, Highway Engineering, and Geotechnical Engineering • Received Overall Award of Excellence, College of Engineering and Computer Science, Abu Dhabi University, Fall 2012 – 2013 • College of Engineering Dean’s List (GPA 3.50 and above), from 2009 to 2013
